Can anybody help me? I got sucked in to a website by the prices and acted on the spur of the moment. Now after over 30 days and £300 I have not received my tv. What is the best course of action to take? The site was WELOVETECH.

I know I was foolish and have already said that I acted on impulse so do not need emails telling me this, but suspect I will get some anyway!
If I was rich I wouldn't care about money. Think I should be rich because I don't care about money now!

No. The site works (or doesn't in my case) by them invoicing you there bank details and you transfering the funds in their account. Once done they are meant to dispatch the goods.

Don't want to rub it in, I realise it was an impulse buy, but if you'd searched here first you might have seen,

This won't help you now if you haven't but always buy on a credit card, never use a debit card when ordering online.

That particular site, a .co.uk domain but their html tags quoting euros, a very slow loading website (which still didn't load after 5 mins) Just a couple of tell tale signs that don't necessarily confirm dodgy but should raise questions. Of course this doesn't help you now but as I always say to people, always be weary ordering online.

Let us know if you used a credit card.

Yes I know. Seen it already but too late now. Just wondering if anybody else has any experience of getting money back from these crooks.

Again, it doesn't help you now and I am sure you don't need telling but certainly never do a bank transfer for an online purchase.

It really depends what kind of company they are. If they are genuine and there is simply a delay with delivery or they are attempting to source stock for you but don't want to look crap by telling you so then constant harrassment will normally get your money back. If they have no intention to send you anything then someone else will need to advise as I have never dealt with that situation.

It is always adviseable though to guarantee you know there is something dodgy going on before shouting 'scam' as all you really said in your original post was that you ordered something and it hasn't arrived after 30 days. Sure this is terrible delivery but not a guaranteed scam.

OP, there are plenty of warnings online about this company, indeed they are a scam by the looks of it. Getting your money back is highly unlikely considering how you paid for the goods, that method alone would send alarm bells ringing to me.

Its an expensive lesson to learn and the last thing you need to hear is a lecture on it. Unfortunately I have not come across anyone who has successfully got their money back, the chances of you getting any money back is very slim indeed.

I would strongly advise in future purchases to Google any potential companies online for potential scams or warnings and NEVER agree to purchase items online by transferring money into their account in this manner.

Sorry OP but its not good news I can offer you.
