I'm still not really spending, am certainly within my budgets. I'm going out with a friend tonight but only need to pay for light refreshments so within £5.
The Av0n book has been delivered and there a some items I want to get. Some will be put away as bargain Christmas presents and payment won't be until next payday so I'll still be keeping to the ' buy nothing new in January' challenge.Spend less now, work less later.1 -
This week I have kept to my budgets. Can't say the same for DS as bank of mum and dad was open again this morning.
Anyway, I used my £50 premium bond winnings to buy a secondhand cabinet we wanted which would have cost £150 new.
Unfortunately I haven't kept to 'buy nothing new in January' as DH needed some new safety shoes for work, but paid for with my AMaz0n voucher, so that doesn't really count either.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning diary. I really should post here more often to keep on track.
Another new item purchased except the payment isn't due until February so I'm not counting that either! All budgets still kept too. Got a bargain toy for the grandchildren to play with here in the charity shop yesterday. £4 instead of over £10.
Today I should only be spending £2 for an exercise class.Spend less now, work less later.1 -
February.....well we kept to our January budgets. It's lovely having a regular income again for both of us.
I have done our February budget and it's looking good. As there is no council tax this month I've bought £200 of premium bonds.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Oops. Not been on here for a while. Budgets being kept to including DH.
Some bigger spends this week. Haircut for me and family day out for half term but all planned.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hello diary.
Still kept to budgets and it's pay day for me today. As there is no council tax to pay I've saved £200. I considered booking a short stay somewhere but have decided just to have a couple of days out instead with DH.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
DHs payday today. I've set budgets for the month and there was £25 left so I've bought more premium bonds.
I'm a little under the weather so I've cancelled all socialising this week which will save a few pennies too.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hope you feel better soon Jazee xx1
