I think he saw that woman reversing into another car as he was passing the riff raff in the local Asda (on his way to Waitrose, it wouldn't happen in a Waitrose car park)

People who shop at Waitrose also respect the parking bay rules and will only park where permitted. I also think generally the bays are wider in Waitrose as the have to accommodate Range Rovers and Jaguars, which are wider than ordinary cars.
You get all sorts at Asda and Aldi I would imagine many cars are not insured ot taxed
It may surprise you to learn that a range rover is actually only 47mm wider than a standard ford mondeo.
So they must be bad drivers/parkers then.:DAutism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.

We ventured into Adsa car park one day as I was showing my son if he didnt do well at school he would get a poorly paid job and look where he would have to do his food shopping. I'm glad to say it gave him the sort of shock he needed. The shock was made much worse as he had to watch in horror as the woman decided to play 'bumper cars' in the car park.

You are right it did surprise me that a Range Rover is only 47mm wider than a Mondeo, but then, like many other people, I wouldn't compare a Range Rover with a Mondeo in the first place, in the same way I wouldnt compare Waitrose and Asda on price for a bottle of wine
