In a couple of my local supermarkets, the P&C spaces are actually quite a bit further away from the entrance to the supermarket than the normal spaces are so this could be another reason why OP decided to park closer. Either way, the girl in the Saxo was in the wrong here from what I've read.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I'd imagine it might have had something to do with the fact that most car parks have about 3 P&C spaces and several hundred normal ones. And the small amount of P&C spaces were probably full.
you have too vivid an imagination, and are prone to exaggeration too; facts will beat you every time...The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

if that's a problem then one would use a different shop, no?The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

Mmm, with disabled badge users, cos there's not enough of those either.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

Depends if you live within the vicinity of one I guess. In rural areas, you're likely to be lumbered with whatever's available.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Or did you inadvertently push your door out further whilst wrestling with the car seat and your bump so hit her door?
In which case the comment about using the parent/child spaces was more justified yet considering she was being impatient by trying to get out whilst you were 'doing' was still rude.
i honestly dont think i did. but even if i did, she should have waited for me to finish. she wasnt trying to get out her car or anything, just wanted the door open. she cant claim to have not seen a huge pregnant bum sticking out of a picasso...you never said why you didn't use the better, larger space designed for you, are you perverse? just curious...
they were full. said supermarket has two lots of p & c which (understandably seeing as it is the summer hols) were full.if that's a problem then one would use a different shop, no?
no one wouldnt. being hot and pregnant, i cant say i fancy driving around to all the different supermarkets til i get a p & c space :undecided"I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
Don't worry, there'll be someone along soon who will remind you that you should feel grateful to even have a car and a child, let alone dare using a parking space reserved for people who work hard and don't just bum around looking after their kids.

I am suprised you didn't get down and beg for forgiveness from her for even daring to spawn another child Lou

It really annoys me when people whack their car door into your car in supermarket car parks. I mean how difficult it is to open a door and not hit the car next to you? I guess people who have old bangers, as its all they can afford, dont give a fig, but when you spend £30k on a car you take a bit more care. Its all about respecting other people and their property.
I saw a middle aged woman reverse into another car last week and she just drove off. I made her stop at the crossing and took her keys out of the ignition and marched her into the shop. Turns out the car she hit belonged to an old couple and was their only transport to the shops and hospital and the wife was disabled.
The middle aged woman showed no remorse at all and said it was only a small dent and she has had worse. I dont think she was pregnant, only fatOne man's folly is another man's wife. Helen Roland (1876 - 1950)0
