An £8.09 spend in Tesco today. Am trying out their 'Everyday Value' blackcurrant squash for the first time... Normally get a brand up, and even Robinsons from time to time if it's on a good special offer!
Got a mushroom stirfry which will do for 2 days of dinners if combined with some other stuff in my fridge that needs eating.
Also succumed to 2 crisps multipacks that weren't on the list, but I got Tescos own as opposed to Walkers... Plus, I do really enjoy my one-a-day bag of crisps!Because it's fun to have money!

Well the local freezer shop is closing down on Saturday so they have reduced everything to half price, so I got some really good deals! Was hoping to have a NSD, but not to be. spend of £15.71 but got absolutely tons! Hope everyone is doing well!
jedi82 - I also love those pepperdew peppers but as soooo expensive we only have them once in a while. If you try stuffing your own let me know how it goes please!0 -
I really want to join this, but I suppose it makes more sense to wait until October. I've just shredded up a load of my receipts, but I may go through my bank statement and try to figure out what we've spent on groceries this month so far.0

Spent €21.35 in Aldi to-day, being very careful about going into shops unless for something we cannot do without, and am finding that there are very few things which are indispensible.

Am back at school now and find myself shopping a bit more regularly as I try to get to grips with volumes of term-time milk and sandwich fillings that we go through. Would rather have to pick up some extra bits than end up throwing out half packs of things, IYKWIM.
Need to add up my receipts this evening...0 -
Stuffed Pepperdews Recipe?Morning all, just a couple of small sepnds this week so still hoping to stay within budget although just popped into C0-0p to get some stuffed peperdew peppers that are absolutely gorgeous. Someone had some last night and i can feel myslef becoming addicted although at £2.72 i wonder if I can buy a jar of the peppers and then stuff them myself, hmmmmmm will have to check it out.
Have a nice day everyone, having a frreezer tea tonight as really need to get it defrosted.

How does this recipe compare (taste and price) to the shop bought ones? I think fresh peppers might be cheaper but I haven't seen them that small other than my greenhouse :rotfl:!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0
