    Hi everyone

Not taken part in the Grocery challenge for a few months so need to get back into it. Not been to bad over the last few months but ive missed keeping check on it to be honest. My challenge will start on Saturday the day ofter DH gets paid and will run to 25th. Going to give myself a budget of £220.00 and we'll see how i go with that. Got a few bits stocked up but need to get some laundry stuff this month so that will make a bit if a dent. Ill keep a track of my spends myself in my sig x

Well after picking myself up and dusting myself off, I am here hoping to do better this month. :o

My month will run from the 28th August to the 28th September, I am going to go for £275 please. Its more than I pledged this month but after having failed completely I am trying for this figure.

I know its ridiculous there is only 2 of us, but its early days and I am here for the long haul.

I have just placed my first Approved Foods order I will have to see how it goes, I usually use Ocado but I need to save money so I am starting September hopefully in the right way?

Thank you to all who post on here.

I've used Approved Foods many times and they've always been great. I put an order in today too. I find it useful, when I get cases of things ie cereal bars, to bag them up and label them with week dates, so many allocated for a week, when they are gone they are gone, otherwise we all just dip into the box.

Thanks for the September thread! Chance for a new start now, a new month. Could you please put me down for £200 for September?

Thanks! My week starts at the beginning of next week, so will start doing totals then.

After saying I wasn't starting Sept GC till 24th aug I've actually started today (as the money I've just spent needs paid back on fri).

£3.98 in discount uk on mouthwash, mug shots, cereal bars and something else that escapes me

And £12.50 in HB on things like loo roll, kitchen roll, noodles, crisps, crackers oh and I bought some (Kallo I think) organic soya milk as it was 29p. Never tried soya milk!

    Hi everyone

    I'm after someone to help!!!

I'm going to have to stop helping with this thread - time constraints and other things in real life mean that I'm unable to continue doing the budgets on the first page so . . . . . . does anyone out there want to take over from me, pretty please. Its easy to do and I'll message you how its done now but I'm sure it could be tweaked to suit whoever takes over and the rest of the posters :]]

PM me if you are interested and I'll get back to you :]]

Its been a blast doing this and I've really enjoyed it, Rosieben is an absolute STAR for doing the recipes, nows that a task thats hard work and don't let her tell you otherwise

Zippy and Pink - thank you for your help and for starting the thread every month :]]

I'll continue for Sept - defo and hopefully someone else will continue it from Oct [if not I'll still do it till I twist someones arm to take over lol]

Just wanted to also add - thank you to everyone who posts on here, you are all very, very nice people and I wish we could have a massive meet up as I'd love to meet you all in real life - thank you one and all x x
