who told you that you had a 5 hour delivery slot?0 -
Well I have had a delivery from Yodel (after reading the comments above I am quite shocked).
ok, what has happened is they have left a card to tell me it is in the Garden under the BBQ (in about 3" of water) and in order to access our garden they have ripped the gate off the wall and snapped the hinges off.
I am so they glad they appear to be so dedicated that they deem it correct to cause criminal damage to access the property.
And as you can guess no one is interested in discussing this.0 -
Another victim of Yodel here. I ordered two pairs of v expensive boots from Clarks and according to HDNL's online tracking they have already been delivered to me. Except they haven't and no card has been left. I'm so angry!0

Yodel .. did you know that they sub-sub-contract their deliveries out?!! would explain why they never seem to know where your parcel is .. and their tracking system is just a waste of time!
I've had 3 deliveries that I've had to chase up with them .. still awaiting one from Sports Direct which they've had at their Southampton depot for a week according to their tracking!!!!
What is most frustrating is that when you call the depot (I managed to trace the number on Google) all you get from the girls in the office (and it's probably not their fault) 'could you hold and I'll go and contact the courier' ... and when they eventually come back on the line - I held for 10minutes this morning - 'I'm sorry but I can't contact the courier at the moment but we can guarantee your parcel will be delivered today'!!!! How can they claim that when it's been 7 days in their possession .. basically they have idea where it is and when/if I will get it!
Our family have used Sports Direct online for years and always been really happy with their very quick, efficient delivery of items ordered. However, from September this is no longer the case - both items ordered have taken over a week to arrive, and with our son being so into his sports quick delivery of items is paramount. Guess we'll just have to pay a visit to our local shop from now on but it's just not convenient for us.
Let's hope all the retailers see sense soon and take their business elsewhere .. Yodel are a joke!0 -
Another victim of Yodel here. After waiting two weeks for my parcel to arrive from Zalando (online clothing company) I finally got around to tracking it. Apparently it was delivered to me and signed for by me on 10th October I THINK NOT!
Upon phoning Yodel I was told that they couldn't deal with it, I would have to go back to Zalando (sound familiar?). So, I have gone back to Zalando and now have to fill in a Legal Statement swearing that I have not received my parcel and send it back to GERMANY. Meanwhile I suppose the jumper I ordered for my daughter has been sold on ebay...that's a thought..I'll go and have a look!0 -

I recently ordered a new phone from Talk Talk that was due to be delivered to me on Friday 9th of November. Stupidly I presumed that when I was given a delivery time of between 7.30 and 9.30 that would mean am as no one would be expected not to leave the house for 14 hours waiting for a delivery. Having to leave the house at 1pm I returned at 2.30 to find a Yodel delivery note had been put through my letterbox informing me that someone from Yodel had called, there was no other information on the card to tell me where the package was. I proceeded to phone the freephone number and also go on the website to give the eight digit reference number that was on the card. Both the website and phone informed me that the reference number could not be recognised!
After speaking to Talk Talk I was told the phone was at a DHL distribution centre, phoned DHL, guess what, no idea what i'm talking about, they did give me a phone number I could talk to an actual human though. It was a good job I had the number as I was then informed that the delivery driver had put a note on the system for the package to be Returned to Sender!!! So much for the three delivery attempts on the back of the delivery note.
The lady at Yodel told me she said she would immediately stop the parcel returning to sender and the parcel would be with me on Monday the 12th between 7.30am and 9pm, as no one would be home on Monday I asked for a note to be put on the system to leave the parcel next to the dustbin, she said she would.
Guess what!!??
It's now 9.15 on Monday evening and no parcel, no note, nothing. nicht, nada, zilch!!!
Fantastic service Yodel!!0
