Hi folks, can any brave person give an opinion on how much harm this diet would do to a 79 year old?
I think this would depend on your current eating habits, nutrition, i.e how well you are eating, your state of health, and how active you are.
Also, the question that comes to mind is why do you want/need to diet at 79? Something you don't need to answer on here, by the way.
A chat with a doctor, or at least a nurse, at your surgery would be recommended.0 -
had that bit of a virus this week that ending up with toilet sitting on Sunday (sorry!) politest way of putting it! - followed by Monday & Tuesday with griping stomach spasms so could only manage a banana & greek yoghurt on both days, that was my 2 fast days sorted this week!! - usually don't do them concurrently but had no choice - scales read 10st 9 this morning!! January this year I was 11st 120

I quite like green tea but if you don't like it alternatives you may like are white tea, mate`, Yogi Tea (I like the Choco Aztec spice). The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Are there any teas that don't actually taste of tea? Yuk! _pale_ :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Aztec spice above, tastes of chocolate, they do a liquorice one (Poss Egyptian spice), a mint one, a mint and liquorice, a vanilla and a chilli one. They are sweet* but not strongly flavoured.
not from sugar or sweeteners just from the plants used in them. http://www.yogiproducts.com//products/category/tea/The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

That could have been my mistake. I was given tons of the stuff as gifts but gave it all away because it tasted so bad.0
