Aww hope you feel better soon Arrietty! Fast days are easy peasy when you feel pants, just a pity about the feeling pants bit :o

I'm just home from work and I've enough calories left for my fave hot chocolate. A Cadbury's Bournville highlights sachet, ruddy delicious :) And there's 20cals left. Must be a first I think, and I haven't felt hungry since my dinner. Another first I think!

I'm still deciding whether or not to fast next week. I'm off work and for 4 days and we're going to a friend's caravan in Harrogate. So it's either have a week off, or fast while I'm at home all day and try not to give in to temptation :o

    Oh well, night night all!

    Hi everyone,

had planned a fast day for today but then matters were taken out of my hands by succumbing to a nasty bug that's been going round and spending a lot of time in the bathroom. Daughter had it last week so I suppose it was just a matter of time.

Needless to say I've just sipped water all day, but have just managed to have a cup of tea and some marmite on toast.

If only I could spend every fast day in bed ... although not feeling so wretched !

    Me too :(
Hadn't planned to fast but it was forced on me. Haven't eaten yet but starting to fancy a brew.
    Hope you feel better soon

Well, I survived another fast day yesterday. Sorry to hear Arrietty and Rosyq, but glad you can see positives in the illness:-) I never get an illness like that (un)fortunately... The only illness I ever get is cold and it makes me want to eat more:-) Once I eat something my body will not give it up again!!!:-))

Another fast tomorrow, and then going away on Thursday for long weekend.. and it will be 4 days full of food and alcohol. So I'll probably put it all back on again... oh well..

DD works with small children, she brings all the germs home, I've never been ill so often as I have since she started there :rotfl:

I'm exactly the same! This was me all weekend! It meant fasting was a bit of a struggle yesterday and I definitely went over my 500cals. Was more like 700. Fasting again tomorrow and will be back on it properly!

    Sorry; I failed.

I've sorted the debt and I want to try again with reducing the fat poundage if I'm not being too cheeky in both departments.
I'll try listing my food daily to help me.

Today, 1.5 eggs scrambled in a tiny bit of butter and tiny splash of milk
    Asda 350 cal curry.
    lots and lots of coffee
60 mins housework and 12 mins toning

Us too. Chicken soup for lunch and prawn red thai curry for dinner.
  • My stomach was a bottomless pit yesterday, so today's fast is very much needed. Does anyone remember what was said about not eating on fast days? Was it not recommended because it's generally to difficult? Are there any particular benefits to not eating at all?
