You can put the ingredients in your diary on MFP and it should tell you. I'm not sure if you can create a recipe on there, but you can on Calorie Counter http://caloriecount.about.com/
You should find them both quite useful:)
I think you can create recipes on there. I made a stew once that I found online so I just input all the ingredients in to MyFitnessPal and it told me the total calories and then you break it down in to servings.
The only problem I find with MFP is that you can put something in and the calorie count can range quite widely. Last week I put a satsuma in and it listed from 35calories to 79.0 -

I agree with that. I stopped using it because you can make it add up what you want to hear...0 -

Fast day for me today.
No breakfast (just my milky coffees), a bit of chicken noodle soup for lunch, carrot for snack and then 1 scrambled egg with smoked salmon and tomato salad on the side for dinner...
Amazing the amount of tomatoes we go through on this diet... OH doesn't eat cucumber and raw pepper don't agree with him, so any salad has to be leaves and tomatoes!! :-)0 -
Thank you.
I've just joined My Fitness Pal at the recommendation of this thread. Just weighed myself. Highest I've been in my life. It's time to kick that fat backside of mine in to gear!!!
Good luck. Keep us updated. It always makes one happy and encouraged hearing other's successes!0 -
Fast day for me too. Been loaded with the cold all weekend and the only time I felt better was when I was eating so I have a feeling today might be a struggle! Have an emergency cup-a-soup on hand just in case...but hopefully I'll make it through to dinner. Having some pepper and courgette lasagne! Yum!0

I'm fasting today. On afters this week so just had my main meal of a mortadella and chives omelette with a baked sweet potato. Will take some pineapple and a 10 cal jelly to work with me.
Good luck to everyone else who's fasting.0 -

It is my 'fast' day as well but I actually feel really hungry today - I am saving all my calories for tonight so at least I know I can have a substantial meal later. The best part though, is I have lost a stone since beginning of July...woo hoo.:j I do think going to the gym 3-4 times a week is helping and it most definitely is helping tone the body. So many of my trousers are now feeling just that bit too baggy but then I have loads of 'next size down' trousers that are waiting for me to jump into. Am not quite there just yet but give it another month and I reckon I will have dropped a good dress size which is great. Just as well as I have a BUPA Wellwoman assessment at the end of this month and I know they would have brought up about my weight again. I am going to ask them about it as well to see if it has done anything else to my bloods / urine etc. samples.0

Hi everyone,
had planned a fast day for today but then matters were taken out of my hands by succumbing to a nasty bug that's been going round and spending a lot of time in the bathroom. Daughter had it last week so I suppose it was just a matter of time.
Needless to say I've just sipped water all day, but have just managed to have a cup of tea and some marmite on toast.
If only I could spend every fast day in bed ... although not feeling so wretched !SAVER0
