sorry? I don't see you proving the content wrong?

Or is this you trying to prove you are right again when you aren't?

    Please stop abusing members.

Sigh - Wikipedia was a quick reference - if I have to spend more time on you (I really don't see why I should, you add nothing but rude comments and abuse people).

    But here you go:

It varies by bank, it can be up to 30 days - if you had 3 months later then I would be questioning how as this is beyond the limit laid out by visa/master card unless of course it was a recurrent payment setup to circumvent the authorisation time limits.

So from wiki to MSE as a ref. ...you're having a laugh?

Give me a proper reference that there is an auth. time limit on a CC transaction.

You can't prove what you are saying.

I am providing proof that what you are saying is not inline with others, but somehow I have to prove im not wrong?

    I don't think so...

Its all turned very childish on this thread.
Repeatedly wrong yet? I have debit card transactions take 7+ days after auth and 1 or 2 CC transactions 3 months later.

wiki as a ref.? Not clever.

    As clever as anecdotal evidence??

Back to the question at hand. No I would not contact them, and yes I would hope to get away with it, and no I don't care what anyone else thinks of that.

Just to update this thread, I emailed the company on Wednesday advising them my card had not been debited but I am yet to receive a reply.

I'd keep quiet, I've had things like this before. You let them know and they end up taking it twice.
