If anyone has a portable air conditioner that uses a hose to pump out
air we need one desperately please! We live in a warm house that gets
very hot in this weather, and our Chinchillas need to stay cool or
else they may die.

Who's likely to be throwing out a working one in this hot humid weather ?!?!? If you're so worried about your chinchillas, get off to B+Q and BUY one - that's where I got mine from :mad: :mad:

Or they can give me the lovely fuzzy chinchilla's, I have a fan to keep them cool - they can have them back in the autumn. I'd rather like a pet

I get used to seeing a bit of moral blackmail about a child desperately needing a certain toy/bike/gadget/mobile phone.... but to use the potential death of a chinchilla if they aren't given an AC unit... ... geeze :rolleyes:
