have offered 7 items this morning on local board, amazing how some people (well 3 to date) need everything i have got offered. and have the front to ask for them all. still all names go in hat and i pick tomorrow, so doubtful they will get all they want. have had one person email me and say its unfair i wait 24 hours to pick as he emailed really quick and must have been first. think he missing the point, its not about who is quickest, its only fair people who can't be sat by computer all day get a chance.

See, i'd not have been able to resist emailing him back and saying I didn't think it was fair that he was a greedy T**t and that I wouldn't therefore be including his name in the pick of the hat and ONLY if there was anything left AFTER everyone else had picked up, would I consider offering it to him. (if I felt like it and at MY convenience of course!)

    you are being very fair.
depending on the tone of his email I might leave him out all together.
when I offered 2 similar items i gave first pick to the first person, she replied either would be great so I gave the second person the choice. two happy recipients (well the one who was half an hour late collecting was not happy with the train service but that was another story)

    one of 3 things...
    1. they need to bury the old one
    2. it's more vicious than they thought and they have to subdue it somehow
    3. it's a large dog and only a large shovel will clean up it's large messes....

I wouldn't even put their name in the hat, personally. If somebody has got the ill grace to complain about a person giving something away to the person that they choose, I wouldn't want to give them my own nose pickings, never mind anything useful! ;):D
