I don't own any perfume (quelle surprise as I don't own makeup either) but if I want to smell particularly nice when going out I put coconut oil in the bath and that makes my skin soft/makes me smell nice.

Whats your favourite and do you wear perfume everyday and if so why?

I keep a bottle of CK1 by the front door & have a squirt every morning before I leave. I have Chanel No.5 for evening wear if I'm going out.
I feel unfinished without my squirt of perfume.

That rather depends on whether I've bathed or not; my deodorant lasts for more than a day.

Who is in the garden with you?

I shower at least once a day & use anti-perspraint deordrant after every shower (or bath).
  • I always wear perfume. I like Chanel Coco for evening and Mademoiselle for day time. I like Chanel Chance and No5 (the new eau fraiche). Like some YSL's too but find that Chanel is more long lasting.
If I know I am going to walk through Boots or Debenhams, I don't use any perfume but get a free squirt there.

I've got a 5 year old bottle of "smells like..." stuff (£1.99) and a 10 year old bottle of Poison, with a few drips left in the bottom.

    I rarely wear perfume.

2 perfumes I react to, they make me feel ill/sick, Poison & Joop (for men).

    I wear the Verbena perfume - L'occitane

It smells like lemon groves :-)

    Really clean and fresh

I would prob like that, I love lemon scented things & very fresh scents.

l'occitane verbena is lovely - i only have the soap as not enough pennies for the perfume at the mo! There are 2 new variants of it out too - Verbena Sorbet with mint and Sun Verbena with orange blossom and jasmine. Mmmmm

Did anyone ever consider that they are perhaps spraying themselves with unnatural and unhealthy substances?
Did anyone ever consider the the perfume they use might be damaging there long-term health. See link - food for thought maybe?!

    :T

also here are the ingredients for Coco Mademoiselle:

Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), Aqua (Water), Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Benzyl Salicyclate, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Limonene, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Salicyclate, CI 14700 (Red 4) and CI 42090 (Blue 1).

considering the skin is pourous (open to particles going through it) there must be some risk putting this cocktail on your skin.

Someone mentioned coconut oil which is agood idea, also the essential oils are really nice, eg lavender, vanilla, sweet orange, they are completely natural and safe, you could mix them with a carrier oil such as almond oil to make a nice smelling oil for skin

You breathe in more chemicals than that every time you leave the house.

I wear perfume every day at work, and when I go out. I like CK One, Joop, Samsara and L'eau de Issey. I also have Eden by Cacaharel and Alien by Thierry Mugler, but I've gone off them a bit.
