I don't see the point in wearing perfume when gardening or housework.

Thats because you wear perfume for other people to smell.

I wear it for ME to smell. I am often seen sniffing my own arms :)

I love perfume and have loads of different bottles on the go at once. I wear it most days.

Today it's Jo Malone's Red Roses, but some other staples are Jersey or Bel Respiro by Chanel, Jicky by Guerlain, Amazing Grace by Philosophy, Stella by Stella McCartney and Cartier's Baiser Vole.

I have asthma and if i am around perfume it goes straigth to my chest. If I am sat on a bus or a train and sat near a perfume wearer then I'm know that I could end up unwell for a good few hours. The perfume irritates my lungs. And I would class myself as having only mild stable asthma.

I not suggesting that people don't wear perfume but I would like to suggest that perhaps people consider the amouts they spray on themselves. Perfume is best used in a subtle way IMHO. The worst place to be is at a Wedding. The concoction of perfume/cologne smells is mind blowing. To me perfume should never be so loaded on that it intrudes upon other peoples space.
Less is definately best! And preferably none at all if it invades other peoples space!

I wear perfume every single day as it makes me feel good. Although some of it smells awful when people wear too much as it chokes me & makes me cough, & sneeze. I love the little mini bottles that my sis normally gets me for Crimbo. My SIL once got me some Cacharel (Eden), in the green bottle, don't get the blue as it's vile! Cacharel's my favourite one.

Yup, wear it every day, it goes on right after deo (people do use that everyday regardless of whether they're going out, don't they?)

My fave at the mo in Guerlain Idyll, closely followed by l'instant d'ete, chanel No.5 is right up there, as is Ghost Enchanted Bloom and Dolce & Gabbana The One.

I use Samsara to freshen up the sheets mid-week.

I wear it everyday because I like to waft around on a little cloud of luxuriant lovliness, yes even when I'm gardening or just doing the housework.

Inspired by your comment Peachyprice, I wear only Samsara or Idylle and could do with a new perfume so might try the others you wear (nicking your inspiration, hope you dont mind) And I thought I was the only one to use Samsara on the sheets lol

I wear perfume daily, its part of my routine, so much so I nearly turned the car around one day cos I'd forgotten to put it on! And it doesnt matter to me if no-one else is around to appreciate it, cos I do.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! :D(I did turn round and go back home ;) )

Same, except I'm female. To me the real question posed by this thread should be 'Why perfume at all?'! I have a really bad sense of smell, so if I can smell perfume on anyone, I detest it because I know it's far too much!

This is one beauty regime where I prefer to go 'au naturelle' :D
Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard

imo it can be very intruding and overpowering, eg having to breathe it in with no choice, eg work colleagues

I agree, why perfume at all. I like breathing in fresh air, not some chemical spray
