Why the everyday perfume?

well if its in the dm it must true - i think they've had articles on pretty much everything causing cancer
The daily mail was one of the many news outlets which ran an item on this perfume story. The only reason I choose the Daily Mail was because they made this news item briefer than others.0 -

Not only to mention, you are paying roughly £30 a bottle for this risk and most men do not actually like perfume either.berbastrike wrote: »no but I have spoke to my friends and although they don't agree with my extreme view, they say they are not bothered and have said too strong perfume is horrible. The same with lots of makeup. God didn't create us with some chemical smell, why do it.
So really, your first assertion is made-up, and not even true amongst your small, unscientific sample group of friends.0 -

Neither were we created holdung a bar of soap, a bottle of deoderant or indoor plumbing. I Still opt for all of those too.
Excess of many things are appaling for health, including life sustaining yhings like food, but in moderate amounts food keeps us alive and perfume kerps some of us smiling.
There are women who agree with you, and men with me, so i am sure we can all me wonderfully happy personally and cope with scents, natural or otherwise of others as best we can!0 -
I change my perfume according to my mood, and the time of year. I'm currently wearing Giorgio Beverly hills, which only seems to smell nice on me in the summer, so is the only time I wear Giorgio.
Before this was using Gres de Cabotine, prior to that Alien by Thierry Mugler, and Marry Me by L'Anvin, but only because I got given as a thank-you. Far too light for me, although pleasant.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Actually I think behind every female wearing gorgeous perfume you will find her other half who loves the way she smells...:D
Certainly in my experience previous partners and the current one associate Samsara with me, to the extent my ex-hubby still recognises it on other women! I do not believe that 'most' men would suffer in silence......Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0 -
Umm... Why are we talking about 'everyday' as if it is a fixation?
We all wake up to different days with different expectations, needs and wants of us.
If your 'everday thing' is a comfort ritual, then, ok. That's your comfort thing. But I'm for the make practical preparations then 'go and do' rather than the 'prepare, primp and do'.
Why spend time thinking about how I'd like to smell, or colouring my face in whatever stuff, when there's a whole host of other activities I could think about in those minutes / hours over a week?
Wash, roll on unscented deo, dress, strap kidlet into bike seat, go. And don't look back. All my important practical 'prep' has been done the night before. All I need is inside the rucksack I strap on the bike behind the kidlet.
Each to their own, but, I'm more for the day than the fuss.

Whats your favourite and do you wear perfume everyday and if so why?
Favourites are Ralph Lauren - Romance and Balenciaga - Le Dix. I also quite like a Body Shop one (forget the name but it's a pinky bottle) and Ghost.
I wear it every day (so long as I have some. When I ran out and couldn't afford any, I stopped wearing it). Never really considered the why, always just considered it part of my routine (like putting on deodorant).
I'll have a think, but for the moment - I just like the smell. I like guys to be wearing a bit (note, not overpowering) of cologne too.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I beg to differ but I often have male friends who have asked me what perfume Im wearing as it smells nice!
sometimes I dont even know what Ive put on that day as I have quite a few!
my favourite is eau de la lune (but its very expensive so havent bought any for years) - its a perfume that isnt too overpowering, isnt musky and is nice and light.
I used to like DKNY but I find it too lemony these days.0
