It's part of my routine - especially when going to work etc. Just when I was a kid and ladies would walk past and you smell their perfume I wanted to be like that - I don't douse myself in it - just a little bit around my neck and that's that :)

I use Jimmy Choo and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre :) (not at the same time!) xxx

As long as you use it that is great OP.

I feel so guilty to tell that the only reason I bought a perfume is the good looking of the bottle.

I love perfume! I would wear it every day if I remembered but often forget. I don't keep a large wardrobe of perfumes, but the ones I have are expensive and hard-to-find - it's sort of a territorial thing, I never like smelling "my" perfume on someone else.

I've had a summer and a winter perfume for a while now and swap over on memorable dates in the spring and autumn - this is an idea I pinched from a friend, and I like the ritual of it and the way the perfumes seem new again after a few months' break. The smell makes me happy. I couldn't give a stuff if most men don't like it, although if my OH objected to a particular smell I probably wouldn't wear it in his company.

I think perfume should be kept subtle out of respect for others, though! It's like music on headphones - to be kept to yourself and perhaps shared with people close to you at select moments. Too many people wear it like a ghetto-blaster, giving migraines to passers-by.

80% of my sweet orange essential oil is limonene.
But the other ingredients I listed? and the links provided by pearl, which did say that the average number of ingredients in the perfums that had not been tested by government or industry was 12, that is alot!!
And thats not including the hormone disruptors (average of 4 chemicals per perfume) and "secret chemicals" (not found on ingredient list) (14 per perfume).

Not only to mention, you are paying roughly £30 a bottle for this risk and most men do not actually like perfume either.

I'm not wearing it for men;)

well I don't care but you still wear this chemical cocktail on your skin. It will get inside your body. It will stick (you have to wash clothes to get rid of a perfume smell). Why has cancer increased more than double since 1900. Asthma increased a lot too. I personally think people who wear perfume are MAD but then they have probably not researched the ingredients like I have. And men do not like perfume in general or a lot of makeup. The natural look is great.

WHY do you keep repeating this assertion as if it were fact?? You have, by your own admission, no evidence to back it up!

No, you know what YOU like. Which is great, but there's more people than just you out there so don't presume to speak for all of them.
