I think you might be talking about Three Beaches. Was there a parade of shops next to the steep hill and a pub called the Waterside on the main road opposite?
I think the place we stayed was called watersideI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Me me me!!! I live about 3 miles away!!
Lovely beaches at Goodrington next to a big waterpark if you've got older kids. Paignton sands with a lovely free kids play area next to it if you've little ones.
Paignton Zoo is fantastic. (next to Morries)
Woodland Leisure Park is a great family day out....google it and you'll see why.
Steam railway to Dartmouth then a trip up the river to Totnes (near me!!)
Model Village and Kents Cavern prehistoric caves both at Torquay
Trips across the bay to Brixham
Most beaches are dog free so no probs
Couple of really good chippies in Preston, (between Paignton and torquay):)
You'll have a fab time :T
we went to Devon a few years ago for a holiday. Had a fantastic time, lovely area and the people are the nicest and friendliest bunch you could meet!
We visited Woodland Leisure Park , spent the whole day there and had a great time and the Model Village and Kents Cavern prehistoric caves both at Torquay again a great day out for all the family!0 -
