The steam train is worth a go too. Can't help with beaches as I can't remember but I am sure someone will know that and the name of the chippy.
Do you mean Scoffs?? (on the main road leading down to the beach)
Yes the chips there are fab.....usually someone stood outside dressed as a chip with a plate for you to sample...:rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
It's all to do with smoothness of entry or something

There is a limit on how much you can have a year though. It's quite a lot but don't go buying too many wide screen tv's. :rotfl:
By heck, they aint half stingy!
Make you wait for 6/12 months and then they put a limit on it *shakes head*
What percentage do you get off?...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Me me me!!! I live about 3 miles away!!
Lovely beaches at Goodrington next to a big waterpark if you've got older kids. Paignton sands with a lovely free kids play area next to it if you've little ones.
Paignton Zoo is fantastic. (next to Morries)
Woodland Leisure Park is a great family day out....google it and you'll see why.
Steam railway to Dartmouth then a trip up the river to Totnes (near me!!)
Model Village and Kents Cavern prehistoric caves both at Torquay
Trips across the bay to Brixham
Most beaches are dog free so no probs
Couple of really good chippies in Preston, (between Paignton and torquay):)
You'll have a fab time :T
wooooooooooow thankyou!!I'm all excited now (well even more so!
)
its so nice to have recommendations
my geography is rubbish how far away is Torquay?
and do you know the names of the best chippies please?0 -

I think that migh be it. Just up the road is a holiday park that you have to go down a proper steep hill to get to. Waxing all the way for me ... even when I'm four weeks down the line, there isn't much hair anyway :rotfl:. It gets finer and finer the more you wax. I couldn't do shaving now.
I'm too much of a wuss for waxing!
Shaving once a month suits me just fine :rotfl::rotfl:
A bit like when Happy has his monthly shower :rotfl::rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
