Yes the chips there are fab.....usually someone stood outside dressed as a chip with a plate for you to sample...:rotfl:

The manager was helped out by my husband and a few of the lads and gave them out as a thank you. they all live near and we don't. bummer really

Lovely beaches at Goodrington next to a big waterpark if you've got older kids. Paignton sands with a lovely free kids play area next to it if you've little ones.
Paignton Zoo is fantastic. (next to Morries)
Woodland Leisure Park is a great family day out....google it and you'll see why.
Steam railway to Dartmouth then a trip up the river to Totnes (near me!!)
Model Village and Kents Cavern prehistoric caves both at Torquay
Trips across the bay to Brixham
Most beaches are dog free so no probs

Couple of really good chippies in Preston, (between Paignton and torquay) :)

I think that migh be it. Just up the road is a holiday park that you have to go down a proper steep hill to get to. It's been a few years since I last went
