T's are terrible at picking and choosing what they do and don't compare. I complained over on T's facebook page some time ago about it and they asked to let them know when item that should have compared didn't so as they could let their IT department know. :)

They seem to have a habit of saying things like that and not following through....

Whilst they are good and the smell of a fatty fryer isn't there, there're chips are no way near deep fried chips. We like ours but you can't best home made deep fried chips in months old dripping.

100% right, I always tell people that they dont replace "deep fried" chips, but it allows you to have chips fairly guilt free and cheaply

That's just reminded my about the O2 £10 off in September (apology for the problems a while back) I'm hoping to put mine towards an iPad case :D
I got one from EBay, maybe not as good quality as the more expensive ones, but it does the job, and is still OK after 8 months.

    HTH:)

Yep we got ours off Ebay and it works a treat and was under £10.

if peeps post extra large pics, cant they just delete them. we have had enough requests from red fox to do so.
  • Just posted this on the Harvester facebook page

We had a meal for our sons 18th Birthday last night at Harvester, we had booked this 2 weeks previously because there was going to be 30 people turning up. We had a phone call 6 hours before the meal to say that they are running out of food and certain selections may not be available. It was too late to change so we went anyway.
When we arrived we were told that there was no jacket potatoes, only 8 oz steak, only 3 fish ( they reserved them for our group ) and other items not available. Most people had to have 2nd or 3rd choice meals but everyone got something in the end. I can't believe that a Harvester could run out of food half way through the week especially when we had booked 2 weeks previous.

On a positive note the staff were great, ESPECIALLY the young girl who took our orders, she could not have been more helpful and apologetic. The manager even sent someone out to get ice cream because they ran out even though everyone had free vouchers, they also didn't charge for any desserts.

I'm going to try the coke cans at lunch time and report back. I'm sure someone will have had results back before then though

Just to clarify, is it S they compare against at 99p?

I know only to buy a single pack per shop but has it been confirmed on all 8 packs of coke or just regular?

    Thanks

I love home made chips. You can't beat them but unfortunately, like you, I can't stand the smell of the deep fat fryer. Twice now I have craved for them and gone out and bought a fryer, only to throw it away a few months later. Not very MSE I know.

We keep our Deep Fat Fryer in the Garage for this exact same reason, our Garage is only about 10ft away from our kitchen door.
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
