    Morning

    Apg update.

I used the £13 Apg the other night. The SA was suspicious about it and called a supervisor over. She said she had to look on the system and about half a hour later she let me use it. I bought some nappies and gave them to a needy family who were pleased with them.

Hope you guys are well and many happy returns to all that were born on the 09/08/?? :)

Just use a saucepan then wash it out, I do homemade chips around once every 2 years but I use a saucepan and clean it out as soon as its cooled.

But I don't even like the smell when their cooking:o:o
We keep our Deep Fat Fryer in the Garage for this exact same reason, our Garage is only about 10ft away from our kitchen door.

Ok I'll confess what I do;)I put the extension lead on the fryer and cook them in the garden,I know I'm mad:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Does this bug anyone else?

The apg mobile app has recently started returning 2 entries per receipt. One for the voucher and a separate one for the breakdown

It means i have twice as many entries to delete now. Just took me 5 minutes to clear them all!

Ah well, its been a productive use of my time whilst waiting for my work computer to unfreeze! :rotfl:

My DH was like this, we hadn't had a fryer for years but had offered to do Xmas dinner. My dad demanded deep fried potatoes and sprouts, DH was mentally scared by being force fed sprouts by wicked step mother as a child so said he would have my mum's frier round as a compromise. The second it came through the door he rushed it into the back yard because the smell was turning him, it was used sitting ontop of our boiler in the yard and when was cooled my mum had to take it out through the yard door as DH refused to let it back into the kitchen :rotfl:
We got one years later and it lived in the shed, it was emptied and cleaned after each use but DH still insisted he could smell it either way  We didn't use it that often because we preferred wedges and baked or boiled spuds so it's now still boxed up and probable be given to someone who will use it more than I will but have to wait until I get to that box :o

  • Hmmm also found these (containing same Britvic ones)

I just phoned Britvic's Customer Service and apparently this is a part of an ongoing police investigation, so don't touch them with a barge pole, lol!

If it is a genuine MOC it will be available legally without buying them off somebody else and someone will post it on here!:)

Morning.. I went AWOL yesterday, actually did some work and the same today. Maternity leave was supposed to start tomorrow but I'm doing one extra day next Tues as a favour for my boss.

I have a shopping list to plan (bbq for Sat, pork steaks need buying methinks) and I need to fill up the car - using my 4 x 10p coupons :j Wondering whether to buy another £6 worth of cereal to get one more PV.

hope everyone is well - sorry I missed the birthday of Mrs Stinkface and Perranlady yesterday so belated birthday to you both.

and Happy birthday to Nikkilala and Fuzzydo for today :D
