I ordered clothes from T's direct with my doubled up clubcard points, when they arrived they genuinely didn't fit:( I asked how I could exchange them instore and they said I couldn't but as they sold the items they'd refund the full amount onto a giftcard for me to spend instore:D I thought it might help someone
I think it depends who you speak to. I used double up points to buy something from Tesco direct, but after being passed 3 times on the phone round different departments they finally said they couldn't exchange, not even for another item in the same department at the same price. They said they could only put the original points back onto my account, which can then be used in the next mailing! Of course, that meant the double up promotion would be over, so I just chanced it and went to the store where they were happy to exchange there and then. I do find Tesco customer service to be completely incompetent at times. They obviously don't receive consistent training on how to apply their own policies.
Sorry, didn't mean to go on, but did not want people thinking they could definitely double up points to use anywhere in store.0 -
