orange Brand new tariffis to be launched in early april!

I have heard from a very realible soucre that orange will be launching Brand new tariffis in early april 2007. These new tariffs will be nothing like you have seen before!
They will be based on 24 month contracts but the value for money that you will get will be out of this world.

My advice to anyone thinking about upgrading/or taking out a new orange contract is DO NOT!! Wait until April 1st ( not an aprils fools btw!!). The monthly line rental will be at stupidly silly prices and the mimutes/txts/data usage will match too.

as soo as i hear anyore i will keep you all updated, but the trainning will be starting this week ( monday 26th 2007)

We heard this about 3 months ago, that they wanted to compete with Flext much better, and last year's animals launch was on April 1st, so this time it'll be believed I think

I can see what you mean esp with the number of free 12 month cashback deals out there at the moment.Hmm it would be interesting to see if there will be any cashback deals with these new 24 months contracts. 24 months free on a 24 month cashback...here's me hoping!

I very much doubt it - Orange have stamped on deals with large amounts of cashback recently. To pay 24 months of line rental in the form of cashback would require a significant amount of cash.

What's more, the whole point of 18 month and 24 month contracts from the network's point of view is to reduce the level of customer churn and reduce the amount of commission payable to the retailers as they will only get to sell an upgrade or new contract to the returning customer every 18-24 months instead of every 12 months.

To this end, the commissions on 18 month contracts aren't significantly more than the commissions payable for 12 month contracts - anyone offering full term cashback on a 24 month contract would almost certainly be relying on a far higher claims failure rate than is currently the case.

ill be suprised to be honest if orange even do the deals as well via third parties, e.g. current animals unlimited is only by direct
