Well, managed another quick go over of the kitchen today - scrubbed the hard to clean bits on the top of the cooker with a toothbrush - yuk - I must remember to do that more often! I also remembered to clean the cupboard under the sink and swipe it over with some pine disinfectant, so it smell clean should any viewers wish to inspect.
I have to admit that I did have 'help', DS 'painted' the cupboards for me with the brush from the brush and dustpan (very hygenic), and then help to clean the cooker by licking the knobs! I think he was admiring himself in the brass end bits and got carried away!! :rotfl: Don'tcha just love toddlers?
I've also been busy in the garden - made some sweet pea tubes by folding a sheet of newspaper into 4 along its length, rolled it up and stapled. How MS is that? :T DD and DS both helped to plant sweet peas in them.
Now off to look at the list for tomorrow...You only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -

Well.. you can cross those off!! lol.. another job done!!!
We are quite good at kicking others up the bottom if they don't get a decent amount done!!
Go on.. another 15 minute burst won't hurt.. get it done!!
Hoovered sitting room, and wiped down tops.
Swept bathroom floor and went over it with a damp cloth (oh the folly of white floor tiles in a bathroom:eek: - what WAS I thinking of?)
Did a teensy bit of ironing
Took son to Explorer scouts
Called in at sainsburys and stocked up on some stuff & bought petrol...
Can I go back on the internet now?;)Ellie

GOODNESS!! I'm away a few hours and you guys write up 3 pages! :rotfl:
Oh well..
Today I did:
lil'-me's list.
tidied the living room
Two loads of washing on the line outside..
Went to work (5 hours out of the house)
Cleaned up after tea.
Helped DH put together a new (wooden) sandbox for little squirt. DH went off to fitness centre, so I dismembered the old one (it was rotting away so...) DS was happy to break all that wood into little bits while I lighted the garden fireplace.... I shovelled all the old yucky sand into the wheely bin. Put new sandbox in place, and filled it with 100 kg's of new sand.. while DS entertained himself burning a big pile of the old wood.
Bathed little squirt.
I then sat and had a cup of coffee with DH that had returned..
ordered kids to bed
Went for a excersise walk of half an hour.. (yes I'm battling the bulge)
and now I'm sitting here.
Time to see what tomorrow's list will be.. and be off to bed!

Ok, so my list today looks quite healthy........which is more than can be said for meI've finished all my dailies and also hacked the grass at the front of the house. I won't say mowed as our lawn mower just doesn't mow but it gives you a bad back! I have been diligently saving £2 coins for a rainy day but I think it's going to have to be used for a mower.
Nighty-night all "all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
Right i have just spent the best part of two hours cleaning the oven. It isn't perfect and havent done anything else in the kitchen but my elbows have run out of grease. I told you it was a monstrosity!
I think one more go with the nasty 'gives you cancer just from looking at it' stuff within the next week or so and then should be able to just wipe it down when warm everytime i use it- DOH thought that was hilarious for some reason!Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.0 -

Its been a few days since i last posted but i havent fallen by the way side.
phew im knackered, with the mad hours i work no time to do anything worth while on a tuesday or wednesday ive adapted the fly lady schedule and came up with an improved super flyboy schedule insteadThis means I have mainly got Saturday and Sunday as free time to catch up with paperwork etc.
Basically on Monday evenings im following the fly lady plan for the down stairs of the house - Kitchen, Lounge hallway and sunlounge. Then Thursday evening im doing the upstairs. Not ideal but means i still feel i have a weekend. Although friday night disappeared with falling asleep due to being wrecked.
House looks so good now - had parents round for tea last night and mum was impressed with how good the place was looking.0
