0 Sleep with the boss. :D
You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.

That has been useful because the only person I know in any detail of job offers is my mum and she has got every job she has ever applied for.

  • So you got applications in -

    Mc Donalds
    Burger king
    KFC
    Pizza Hut
    Subway
    Wimpey

I'm sure you will get the KFC job:p

I have got 6 applications in at the moment.

    So then that's 200,456,478 + 6.

And all that time I though the answer was 42....

Phil, as it has been put to you before, if you apply for a job that you isn't suitable to you, don't take rejection personally.
If you answer an ad for job that matches your abilities and experience and manage to show the prospective employer how you are qualified and motivated, then the odds aren't that bad.

This is a moneysaving site not a Phils instant helpline.

Perfectly put. Tattoo that on his forehead and hands, someone - please. If he wants to talk inanely about himself on a daily basis, put him in a soundproof box with no Net connection.
I am not stubborn. I am merely correct.

None of the jobs I have applied for I am perfectly experienced or qualified for but you are never going to find a perfect job.

  • im not going to quote post 12 but is there really any need for that on here?

You won't quote it but you'll mention it instead so people go have a look at it???

I was never any good at algebra at school.
This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down
