New Lloyds Vantage current account

  • Well I applied online for a new TSB Enhance account nearly 2 weeks ago to use the same way we use Lloyds Vantage.

Just to clarify, does anyone know if I have 3 accounts can I just roll 1k from first account to the two other accounts and back to first one again as I do with Lloyds?

In other words no outside new money needed each month?

Looking on the TSB Enhance MSE forum it seems it is quicker to go into a branch to open accounts as online is taking ages...

The TSB Enhance T&Cs are exactly the same as your Lloyds Vantage T&Cs, so the answer is yes.

Well I rang them about a week ago, before making the second application. I was passed from pillar to post and it wasn't a heartening experience. They didn't seem to be able to grasp the fact that I wanted to know how my online application was progressing. Eventually they asked me for the reference number that was displayed after I'd applied online. I've applied twice online and on neither occasion was there a reference number provided at the end of the process. I reckon my applications have gone into the ether.

That is disappointing. If it is any consolation, once they are approved you should be OK. have no issues with online access to my ex LTSB accounts

I have a feeling that bboth applications are lost in their computer systems and I think that no response for either of them is likely. I'll have to consider phoning them and applying over the phone I think.

    I have an odd situation

My three Vantage accounts have been transfered to the new TSB on-line account and I can manage them there OK

Strangely Mrs B's accounts are still on-line at Lloyds where she can manage them. She doesn't have a log in for TSB accounts

Can anyone see that as a problem and know why this is so?
  • The log in is only allowed for those account holders who were transferred to TSB from Lloydstsb. She could apply for 3 TSB accounts and apply for online access

The point is she should have been transfered to TSB from Lloydstsb like I was .

Just wondered if anyone else had this happen?
