I’m off work today. I was planning some garden jobs but it’s torrential rain here. Is it too early to sow seeds? 1 April is when I will sow sunflowers. Maybe sweet peas and runner beans too?

It feels surreal. Life after mortgage? It doesn’t seem like something that is going to happen to me but it is! 😂 I think I’ll build the growhouse first then decide on what seeds to sow. I’ve not got much room indoors so hoping growhouse will be enough.3 -

All this garden chat on MSE lately is making me feel very glad I don't have one - I have enough that I feel guilty about not doing indoors, without adding to my angst by ignoring outdoor jobs too 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I enjoy it much more now I don’t have a real lawn. I found caring for a lawn a chore but planting bulbs and pottering is quite fun!
