..... plus i have grans funeral on thursday and my sister still hasnt found out if my mum definatly wants me to do the food. But even if not at least i offered by the sounds of what im hearing via my sister the whole family arguing about everything, its so sad when it comes to this....
((hugs)) Weddings and funerals  I'm so very sorry you are having to endure thisBut, do not feel alone, family arguements at funerals are par for the course, sadly! Keep your own dignity while others forget theirs - says far more about them then it does you! ((hugs))
twink - yes indeed she is!! Considering we are now nearing the end of March and she was taken to the Hospice at Christmas ... she is remarkable!!!! Thank you for your thoughts
Oooh, Pink, another sister to add to your crew :rotfl: (Remember when we were "twins":rotfl: )
Well, d12yo match went like a dream - a 5-2 win!!!! Wooohoooo!!!!! Of course that just means he comes home STARVING! Hahah!
PP - thank you for your welcome back; I can't log in *every* day, but I don't forget any of you - how could I when I've been a member for over 3yrs now.
While the roast did it's own thing in the oven, using the mix from the website I posted, I now have choc brownies, peanut cookies and a gorgeous cheese teabread all ready for packed lunches this week :j :j :j Means I can sail through Monday/Tues/Wed., without having to think too hard about food!!
Furbaby now needs some attention, so better run (grabs comb ready to do battle!)

Evening All
Quick update - Jimmy's farm sausages were lovely, tried the pork apple & pistacio (sp) and the plain ones in hot dog rolls with onions and musrooms. Also bought a few packs - they were doing a roaring trade when we left.
The DS's team won 1-0 at footie - downside of the day is that I have come out with a thick cold and a sore chest so am going to have an early night (even earlier bearing in mind the time change).
Mind you I need to get up extra early tomorrow to look for the cereals and bowls.
Have a great evening.0 -
Good evening all
Well I achieved most of what I set out to do today, the kitchen has had a serious blitz, I made 5 portins of broccoli & stilton soup, a weetabix fruit loaf & 2 loaves of bread & got 2 loads of washing dry on the line & am now looking through the 'Mix' link from Queenie.
I'm all geared up for tomorrow, with a list of questions about my sudden drop in salary, there will be blood on the carpet tomorrow & it won't be mine!!!
Hugs to all.
Hester

Hi you all
Well, I am so busy and I am not keeping up at the moment - so sorry I can't comment, but send hugs, etc but thinking of you all. The difficult part is work when they won't let me on - that was when I could keep track of everything.
Well, back from Dublin with DGS1. What a trip. He had an absolutely fantastic time from beginning to end. DS1 and partner were wonderful hosts and totally spoilt him (and me!). DGS1 was just so overwhelmed by going on the plane - they are humungous Granny! He just was so good.
GB knackered! I slept with him the nights we were away and sometime in the middle of the night last night he obviously roused a bit, gave me a huge hug and kiss, turned over and went back to sleep.
A real memory weekend.
Love to you all and will try to catch up but away on family duty next weekend so as I said before really busy!

Boo Hoo, my slow cooker has just died
I had the Hiniari 3.5L Stainless Steel one, would like one a little bigger, but don't want a 6.5L one. Any suggestions or best place to buy one? A piece of plastic broke off the back of the control knob and it was loose, and you could see the wires behind, so after DH had taken it to pieces to see if he could fix it, he then condemned it
Roast dinner went fine, just played taxi and dropped them at the pub, so no wine for me with dinner :A
I know I don't say a lot, but I do enjoy all your stories, and the coots are great.

And this is untrue.:p She has known I'm her sister for the last 33 years. I'm a bit hard to missShe was unaware however that I had an addiction to haribo sweets and had started posting on the daily thread.
Had a great day in the big city but will tell you all about it when I'm less bushed.
Haribo x0 -
Just to say, who would have guessed, Pink and Haribo, sisters!!!:D
I did notice Pink that she had to mention you were older:rotfl: :rotfl: (the wiser bit was just a sop to keep you sweet, shall I stop stirring now?:rotfl:)
Great news! Must be fun, so wish I had a sister instead of a brother!! Although have to say, one of my sisters-in-law is like a sister to me, I just love her to bits!!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Thanks Churchmouse. I'm much quieter than Pink and tend to fade into the backgound much more so it's not surprising you would have missed it.
Think I'd better shut up now before she comes back and pulls rank. :shhh: :silenced:0
