Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Satuday 24 March. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Good morning everyone... please can someone help.. i cant seem to copy and paste the heading bit that i should be doing !!!!!!!
have you all remembered to put the clocks forward ?
i have to go to work this morning and im sure that most of my ladies would have forgotton .. so they are not going to be happy with me.. my first call is at 7am !!!
want to try and do a bit of weeding today, if it stays dry ! having roast chicken for dinner, also thought i would have a go at poshpaws recipee for that yummy spiced pastry.
hugs and stuff to everyone this morning just becouse its sunday !

Morning Loraine, Twink and all to follow,
Lorraine, I'll sort the heading out now.
Snowy, I can't believe they are agreeing with the supervisor. Stand your ground on Monday….easier said than done I know, but you have the law on your side.
elona, I'm glad that yesterday went ok. You really have had more than your fair share of funerals recently.
Haribo, trust you to notice :kisses3: and as you well know I am not a chatterbox!
Pen Pen, congrats to the football team.
Ccstar and Hester, Hugs.
Racy, I haven't had a chance to reply to your pm yet…..I'll be in touch sometime later today or tomorrow.
I had a busy day yesterday so got absolutely nothing OS done. The girl who was working with me was very nice though so that made the day a bit easier. We didn't finish our last call last night until 10.45pm and have another early start today. Losing the hour hasn't helped, because as many of you know I am not a morning person, so I'm not a happy girl this morning.
Mr Pink is doing roast pork for the first time later……..so that could be interesting! Actually I don't care, if he's prepared to cook it, I'll enjoy it!
Ok, better get going……..
Have a good day everyone.

Sammy, computers have a little magic device (that's the technical term y'know) that somehow knows when to change the clocks and does it automatically.
When I got my first computer I was amazed. But then I am easily impressed0 -
Morning folks
Still feeling a bit grotty. I am now on day 7 of the lurgy . My face has now broken out in multiple cold sores (like it always does) as I am feeling run down. I feel like a leper .
Not much on the agenda today. A load of washing and a quick tidy up.
Have the packing to do for school camp. Hopefully nothing has been forgotten as don't have the inclination to go out again.
Righty off to get something to eat as I am peckish.
Have a great day everyone0 -

Morning All
Up here, everyone else in bed, best time of the day, I love mornings, and even better if I can play on here undisturbed. First cup of coffee downed, off to make another, anyone else?
Mrs_Mix sorry tobe nosy but what is wrong with pork?
I have a joint of beef defrosted for later, for us3, and will find some roast veg for the GF (bought loads of veg in ready), she's nice, not pushy veggie, and will eat fish, just eats around meat as she doesn't want to eat it, which is easy to respect.
I know its not easy to be tidy in a room with two single beds in which is designed for one single bed, and our DS is the worst, but boy they make hard work of it, I just opened the door when they had gone out last night, and found clothes all over the bed, plus 3, yes 3 towels from our DS's shower on the bed, so just removed them threw the clothes off the bed to the end so they could fall straight into bed when they came home after a night out and not wake us up clearing it, and closed the door!! If the relationship continues, and it seems fine, then will have to consider arrangements for if(when) she stays again.
Right off to put the kettle on and back to the family research.
Take care all.
DG
Edited to say DS just came through to get a bottle of water, it has been a very good night it seems, so back off to bed with the bottle of water, looks like dinner may be around 6 p.m.Member #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Good morning everyone,
Well I have not been around much lately due to mostly work getting in the way. Oh well never mind - one week till holidays!
I am in the middle of washing all of the rugs in the house - I started at six and am on my second load already! My other plan for the day is to sort out all the paperwork that needs filing - I can think of better ways to spend an hour:rotfl:
Have a good sunday everyone
