Just like their 'Successful CCJs this month:

which can all be dated (if they even exist) to at least 2010

I really can't understand why they wouldn't want to update their website with the VCS case - it's bizarre !

And what about this time last year, how can they have forgotten being investigated by Trading Standards and standing trial at Hull Crown Court?

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=63597

It was actually a messed-up case by Trading Standards if you read the outcome in post 41. If only they had taken a basic stance saying that the charges were unlawful penalties so not even owed by the people they harassed, they would have got convictions it seems. Without that, UKPC were found guilty on one charge only.

  • BTW I wasn't supporting or condoning their activities, merely pointing out their audacity. I had a run in with CP+ who I told to "do one".

    hi all,
i received a ticket from ukpc in a retail park for taking up 2 spaces,i saw the 2 wardens and after much bickering they just said to appeal it,so foolishly i wrote them a letter explaining why i parked like that.(why didnt i read this forum first:mad:) after 10 days iv heard nothing, the only trouble is ive admitted to being the driver and they have my address and phone number,DOH!
so does this mean they can pursue this to court proceedings and they would have a case,

    any advice really appreciated

I have to ask, why were you in 2 spaces? People do this in my local retail park which has limited parking, it's incredibly selfish when they're short of spaces.

He didn't actually say he was. He said he'd received a ticket for it.

Not necessarily the same thing, but maybe the OP will answer your question directly.

Good advice though. Or is it?

And, IIRC, they're not only for Debt Recovery Plus, but also mostly default judgements and/or for council tax arrears.

Well I have now had five threatening letters from these scammers, the last one offering a reduced payment, what an utter load of crooks they are! I have been back to the car park a few times and actually managed to enlighten two other victims of the scam following on from advice on here.
Also notice the scammowardens constantly on site or hovering in their cars waiting to pounce, so obviously must be a very lucrative venue for them!

'Farming carparks' to pick off victims is a VERY lucrative scam everywhere, sadly.
