No just ignore. Please read the rest of the thread for further explanation. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Went to the same carpark recently and saw their man sitting in his unmarked car waiting for people to violate their little rules and then he pounces.
He then goes back and hides in his car, words fail me!
I have been on their website, they have loads of job vacancies for "snitches", minimum wage, provide your own car etc.
I thought of applying and then not issuing any tickets to see how long I lasted, and also to see what their staff training is like, and what exactly they are told to do! LOL0 -

If it ever went to court that behaviour would be instantly fatal to their case. The judge in VCS vs. Ibbotson made it perfectly clear that the failure of the parking monkey to warn Mr. Ibbotson that he shouldn't leave the site meant that VCS had failed to mitigate their losses.
That was just before he ruled that actually they didn't even have a contract and suggested to their legal eagle that she might want to bring a toothbrush on her next visit...Je suis Charlie.0 -

It's garbage, basically legal claptrap. Precedents are not set in lower courts like the small claims, something they conveniently forget to mention. They also fail to mention that after the upper tier decision on hmrc v vcs which is binding on lower courts, that they have no legal right to offer parking or taking cases to the small claims, unless they basically own the land.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I really can't understand why they wouldn't want to update their website with the VCS case - it's bizarre ! :cool:All aboard the Gus Bus !0
