To quote JTR - HELL YEAH!
We too love our holidays. I won't know where we're going though. I've left it entirely to H2B:j
I hope to find out when we step off the plane, but guess the pilot might mention it mid-flight.....Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

We got married in October and used airmiles for a 'free' week in Malta, but had our 'official honeymoon in June when we did a Med cruise. Would highly recommend cruising, you get waited on hand and foot, can relax or do loads on board and get to see loads of different places0

You only do it once (hopefully)!!! Plus...I am a teacher and although i love kids.....I don't want to be surrounded by them on my holiday..there will be plenty of time for that when we start a family of our ownA girl after my own heart! Exactly what I want ! (or make that champagne ...)

Ha ha...I think it is the opinion of most teachers planing honeymoons. The moment I decided I was going adult only was when my HoD told me about a holiday she has in Spain where her and her husband were out partying for the night, a little worse for wear, and then gets a tap on the shoulder and the little voice of a year 8 girl 'Miss...can I have a photo with you?":eek::eek:Are you sure you're not me?! Hahahahahaha nightmare!!
My worst 'seeing a kid outside of school' moment was when OH and I walked into the jeweler's to choose my engagement ring, having picked one that is not in the town centre in order to avoid bumping into any kids, and who should be standing there doing a customer quiz for her business studies coursework...but my least favourite Year 11! Lol! To be fair, she looked as embarrassed as me.
My form have decided they are going to come into the church to see me get married (though whether they will actually bother on the day, I don't know) but I don't mind that too much, they are very sweet. That's where it can end, though! No bumping in to kids on honeymoon, thank you!!! :rotfl:0 -
Some of these responses are brilliant! I think we've settled on an idea, whether or not it will happen is another story! So far the plan is a few nights in Toronto, then a night or two in Niagara Falls follow by a few more nights in NYC! I did have a nose at the Sandals site last night but I really don't think we'd enjoy it for more than three days!0

Ooh we're heading off to NYC, Toronto, Niagara Falls (plus Finger Lakes, Providence and Boston) in two weeks
sounds like a great honeymoon! :T 0 -
We get married on the Friday and fly off to Egypt on the Sunday morning for 11 nights for lots of sunbathing, snorkeling, eating and drinking!0
