    Artytarty I have been through this twice with my cat Sophie and it is so scary

    Well she made it!
    They removed the bit of ball, some black and yellow plastic bits (?) a pineapple chunk and some grass.The nfurther down they got out another bit of rubber. Gut looked ok, no ischaemia.
    So I have to ring later for an update. Thanks to everyone for caring.

    Hi Artytarty, glad things are going well, I used to be a vet nurse and once we had a dog in that had chewed and swallowed a golf ball when he was operated on it the ball looked like a giant pot noodle because of all the elastic :eek: it was removed ok and the dog was back to normal very quickly. best wishes
