My darling 1 year old collie lab cross is at hte vets. She si having surgery in the morning to remove a foreign body from the stomach.
2 vets required for op. Major surgery, slow recovery the vet said.
I just hope she makes it . I am so worried. probably a bit of tennis ball.
To add to it al,, tomorrow it will be a year to the day we had our old dog pts at the same surgery.

I am so sorry to hear this. I can't imagine how awful you must be feeling. I would be devastated if anything happened to my pooch. But reassure yourself that this is a common problem for dogs, the vets are highly skilled at what they are doing, and also if they didn't think it could be fixed or there was no hope, they wouldn't operate. So things at least look positive I am so sorry to hear about your other dog being pts, what a hard, horrible time you are going through. xx'No one can make you feel bad without your permission'
