Had a very stressful weekend, car broke down on major motorway, couldn't be fixed and got home eventually after several relay trips via the transporter
so just catching up with everything here.
I have no more uUs or INs so that is always good.
Going to have an early night as had a couple of very long days
Oooh, that sounds horrid, hope you are recovered from the ordeal now and that the repairs will not be too costly. Hugs...The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

One completely unintentional In - I went to London last week and forgot my foundation  Luckily they have shops in London so I got a Max Factor Facefinity compact because I hate choosing shades of liquid foundation. I was shocked how expensive all the foundations were, I think when I have finally got through my stash I won't be able to afford new stuff at all!
I was looking at eye shadows yesterday and either prices have gone up an awful lot or it's been longer than I thought since I bought any. I've got blue accessories for a wedding I'm going to and want blue eyeshadow. I seem to have loads of greens/purples/browns/golds but don't think I have any blues. I wanted blue mascara as well but it seems to be like cars were in the early days - comes in any colour as long as it's black! I can't believe that they can have 3 or 4 varieties of black for the same mascara as well. Brown would be hard to find also. I did see a blue online in Boots so may have to go there - I will try really, really hard to only come out with the eyes shadow and mascara3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I got mine in Tesco. Will probably take it on holiday (although I would rather take George Clooney). Has anyone used it yet and what did they think of it? (the cleanser, not George Clooney, obviously!)3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Have a lovely time Tater! :j
A couple of UUs from me:
Sil Derm stretch mark massage oil sachet - WNB, smelt foul
M&S Natural Benefits body mist – Ylang Ylang & Patchouli - I've had this for years so not even sure if they sell it anymore! Smelt a bit granny-ish for me but did the job.
Feeling very sleep-deprived, little toddler decided to spend most of last night screaming for no reason, which has been a theme in our house lately. On the plus side, my olympic sunburn is much better, really helped by using the left-over calomime from toddler's experience with chicken pox!

I did spend AC points today on a Botanics eye make up remover and toner, it just doesn't seem so exciting!
Does anyone know if the Marie Claire with the Murad cleanser is only in certain shops? I was ahem, browsing, in WH Smith and Sainsburys and they didn't have any freebies with them so I didn't buy any magazines :A
Exactly! I'm not sure that I can hand real money over for another eyeshadow palette either'Smoked' looks lovely but I've just found out that it's £35! The new UD foundation is £27 which I think is far too expensive
The colour range looks amazing though and I saw a blog post showing what it's like and it looked great. Booooo! Bring UD back to Boots!
My deal with myself re AC points is that I buy boring things to get the points (contact lens solution & stuff like that) and then the points are strictly for treats. I think that I'm going to spend my points on the Real Techniques Core Collection brushes and maybe another Revlon lip stain thingy. :j0 -
I have sorted and packed my toiletries and hair care bags ready to go away on Thursday, I hope I have remembered everything, as I will be away 12 or so nights and will not be able to get to shops. Next to do is underwear and footwear then the most difficult of all, nail polish:eek: too much choice:o
Getting there with the food packing and listing of fresh and frozen, but I am not thinking about clothes until I have heard weather forecast on Wednesday (almost 2 weeks in motorhome, in a very large field), will be mainly involved in Admin work, but will need to cater for cold or wet when out on the camp site, also sun hat/sleeves and Factor 30 just in case (insert fingers crossed emoticon).
Not you as well!
(Ha! Really I mean to wish you very happy hols :rotfl:It's just that you'll be missed)
It sounds like you're getting really organised. I'm not surprised that you're unsure what to pack because of the weather. There's a possibility that my OH and I are going camping in Cornwall during the first week of Sept. We might be swept away in floods the way this summer has been going...
I booked the campsite (near St Ives) last year and then we couldn't go. I'm not feeling as enthusiastic about it this year but it'd be a shame not to go. We have his van as a back up to sleep in if it really pours, so that's lucky. I like the idea of your motorhome much more though!
*fingers and toes crossed for good weather for you*
