Complain. These companies have broken the law.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Rother have started to charge to even speak to them on a planning matter (not for reporting infringements) so it will cast a ppc more whatever they do.
    Shame.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

A question of order - is it the PPC or the supermarket that have to gain the planning consent ? I know it's probably fairly academic but it would nice if it were the PPC just to cause them loads of hassle !

Surely it would be better if it were the supermarket, and the PPC causes THEM a load of hassle?

    Hmmm .... yes possibly.

Wickes / Parking Eye have also been very naughty at the Hove store. No planning permission for the signs or the cameras. Another email to the council coming up !

The signs in Wickes in Hove used to say 2 hours free (the blue ones on the lamposts), whilst a bigger sign on the wall just by the entrance (which almost always has a transit parked in front of it) said ONE hour free.

    A nice little earner!

  • According to lincoln city planning office, no planning permission is required for signs that are 'contract conditions' relating to the car park and below a certain size.......so even the planning departments cant agree amongst themselves what does and doesnt nee dpermission.
