you can pick up and pay cash if you wish, i will take paypal but as it costs me a lot you must pay 5% extra to cover cost. postal orders are okay, and checks once they have cleared….

He would be making a profit if a buyer agreed to pay 5% extra via paypal.

I haven't reported it.

Partly because that is not really my style and partly because I might bid for it, though I won’t bid anywhere near £326.

I don't want it for myself as I don't like the colour so I would only buy it to resell it and I think I am unlikely to get it cheap enough to turn a profit.

Abuse of ebay policy doesn't benefit anyone. And the fact that he's basically trying to do the deal off ebay is putting other potential buyers at serious risk of fraud. I think you SHOULD report it, whatever your "style" is.
