Well I have time to sit for 10 mins and have a natter.
Dr has referred me to have the dreaded camera down my throat :( Not looking forward to that after what poor bethebee went through:eek: Talking about beth I hope she is ok hello-011.gifand beemuzed, Aussie Lass, JackieG etc as well, there are an awful lot MIA's at the moment :(
Nice to see npm and shalva back though :D

DH has decided to take his Dad's birthday present and card down tonight instead of tomorrow, because he has a busy day, he wants me to go as well.

I got a phone call from a company that I do market research for to ask if I would like to take part in a 2 hour discussion tomorrow night about the bus service in my area and to tell them why I don't use the service, and what could they do to improve it, the best bit is that thy will pay me £30 for doing it and as It is only 3 minutes scoot away so I thought why not, the money will come in useful

Grrrr cool-unhappy-071.gifI don't like these blooming underlined adverts that have cropped up in the last day or two, they are a complete PIA. I am wondering whether to stay now with money supermarket taking over and I think that I will copyright all of my recipes as well, so they don't think that they can get away with using them.

Oh well must go DH is bellowing BFN x

    Good morning,
Redruby - So sorry to hear about your father, you shouldn't have to take food in to him. Could you have a word with the matron/manager to get him an individual diet? And perhaps tiny amounts but really frequent would be easier? It is part of his proper care and if you mention the CQC Outcome (Outcomes are the rules that care or nursing homes have to abide by) on Nutrition you may get a result. I think it's Outcome 5 and you could check it out online. (In all this spare time you have such difficulty filling:D)

Thanks Hun, its a very long story, going back all the time my dad has been in there, I cant remember how many times I have complained about the food, at least 15, I have even had a meeting with the chef and given him
    menu ideas.

His dinner today was fish and chips oven cooked and was all dry, he ate a bit, but wolfed down the sandwich and yoghurt I had taken in, it is getting better with the new manageress but its slow going, I despair about the 'care' in this country

    Evening all!
Busy day at work, and got a frantic text from OH after 6pm to say we have a flea problem.....so cat has been dosed, and on thursday, my next day off, will be pulling out furniture and dousing the house with spray and powder and madly hoovering, lucky me! Have been scratching since I read the text!!!!

Busy day at work - but mostly ok. I don't know how I end up getting dragged into all the dramas. Most of the time I don't know what it going on!

Wandered around the charity shops at lunch time and found 3 books - one was a family and their smallholding experience, a book on herbs and healing plants and one called A Slice of Organic Life - this is huge and looks fascinating.

Just exhausted for some reason today so this evening I have made a birthday card and written by blog giveaway post for tomorrow. Productive but not very!

I'm nearly in time to be too late tonight.

We have friends staying in the caravan and we like to spend time with them and their 2 lovely teenage lads. Unfortunately, they all have different dietary requirements so cooking a meal for them is next to impossible. It's easier to take them out, so the money is haemorrhaging out of my purse. To add to the complications another friend is arriving tomorrow with her 2 grandsons. Not staying with us, (thank-you Travel Lodge) but obviously we'd like to spend time with her too. My diary looks like arrangements for a United Nations Conference.

Nothing OS going on this week I'm afraid - no time.

Halight: Congratulations on the egg. When my Hinge (or it may have been Bracket) laid her first egg we boiled it and carefully cut it into 4 so we could all have a piece.

Butterfly Brain: You'll be fine if you insist on sedation. The only complaints I have heard is from people who think they are tough and decide to go through it unsedated.

Am going to get an earlier night tonight. At one point tomorrow I have to be in two different places at the same time and I've not quite worked out how yet. Perhaps inspiration will come in my dreams!

They aren't orange on my laptop! No underlining or pop ups either.
