    Morning All,

I loved the gymnastics as well. Bit obsessed with Olympics in general, don't know what I did with my time before:D

I had my ears pierced right round the top in my punk days, about 6 holes. No sign of them at all now :)

Need to do a wash today but will put it on the maiden, looks like another rainy day. Also have a basket of ironing waiting for me.

My diet went to pot yesterday. I always eat when I'm stressed. We are going to have a good walk later, rain or not as we need to make a decision on the house. The problem is we have been offered a deal with the mortgage company which gives us a great discount if we settle early which we don't want to miss out on. It is due to expire at the end of August, although we will try to get them to extend.
Our other option is renting but if we do this by the book so to speak the rent would only just cover the mortgage payment. Add to this the pressure of being in Australia by the wedding in December and very little savings and we are both totally stressed. Somethings got to give, I just don't know which way to turn.:(

Sorry for the long rant but I do feel better for writing it down.

Need to get moving and turn the olympics off. Will have a shower and walk to the post office with my parcels.
    Have a good day all J x

Iv just been out to the Hens to collect there eggs,
At Easter we had three one day old black rock hens. We got them for the girls as part of there Easter present, Well they have come on really good since then. They have had a few fights and that as they have sorted there self's out into there pecking order.

Well iv got out to get the two eggs we get of our older two and today there were three egs waiting for me:j:j One of our young hens has layed her first egg:T:T So well done to her:beer::beer:

Anyway I know its not much but i though that i would share that with you all
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

Halight believe it or not, your post really made me smile - as you know, I'm a "critter" person, and hearing about a young hen laying her first egg is just great, imho.:D

    I've been Money Tipped!
Have actually done something old style! I have just made little bear some home made bubble blowing stuff (1/2 cup washing up liquid, 2 cups water, 2 teaspoons sugar, left out the food colouring as the carpet is wrecked already without lots of red splodges). Little bear has now lost interest, but not after finding out that it worked!

Little bear is still recovering as he stood with his back to next door's fence and their pup jumped up and pushed him firmly in the back. Little bear was appalled! Little bear is so tentative around dogs, I wish I could help him be more confident, so I am trying to get him to stroke next door's lovely, playful, gormless hounds.

halight - one of my favourite early memories is collecting eggs - it is so amazing for littlies.

wuvvies - you need to complain - it's good for the blood pressure. I hope you feel better soon.

hugs to all, and good wishes.

Morning, wet again here :(I took the dog out on the field this morning and my trousers had about 5 inches of wet from the bottom up once I took my boots off.I should've tucked them in but they are the loose linen ones and I look slightly strange if I do that :rotfl:
Sons came home at teatime, they loaded their washing into the machine-think they had better weather than we did-no hail anyway. They had a great time anyway judging from the photos-DH is jealous I think esp as one of his favourite bands headlined on Sunday night :D
Pizzas for them for tea, beef stew from the freezer for me and DH.
House is tidy, washing more or less up to date so I have some free time-I might make some soap.I have had the stuff ages but not got round to it,think it'll be a strawberry/poppy seed scrub type bar,or I may leave some poppy seeds out of one lot.Still got loads of the lavender one I made in the New Year but I'm thinking I could use some as pressies.

Hugs to all the poorlies x
Wuvvies-sorry you're fed up.I spend a lot of time on the internet too,but dont buy much,am mainly on this site hopping from board to board(only post on this one though)or peoples blogs.Hope the pain in your arm eases soon x

Julie-sorry things arent going to plan, its annoying that trying and failing to sell the house affects all your future plans,we're the same.We have taken ours off the market for now, going to do a couple of jobs on it,then get an up to date valuation.DH got fed up of being polite to chancers who hope you are so desperate to sell, you'll accept their ludicrous offer
Hope it's a good day for you all

    Morning all
I had 5 piercings & only 2 ofthose were in my ears!! I only have 3 left now as I found the others inconvenient.
I have done 2 loads of washing & hung them on the covered line, fed the fish, made hubby's packup & dropped him at work with it, been to the tyre shop to buy 2 new tubes for his trolly at work. I'm now going for a wander round the local hairdressers as I've hacked 8 to 10 inches of my hair & now decided I need it styled, lol.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

I don't know if you know But one of the Gym Guys is from halsowen and trains at the earls

Yes Kristian Thomas! I knew he trained at Earls but thought he was from Wolverhampton. Oh well, still it's always nice to hear a local accent on telly :D

I'm another who had lots of ear piercings that have now closed up. I had an infection in one which made my whole ear and part of my neck swell up because I never cleaned any of them and was always playing with them. SO stupid!! My ear doesn't curl at the top now and is kinda lumpy, gross!
eta: i really doubt this will happen to your daughter, i was very dumb and get infections easily.

    Hello Everyone :hello:
She says sneaking her head around the corner. Not been around for a while, blaming the new puppy, and a failed HDD which made me rebuild the laptop after repair. Here is Skye P1010587a.jpg
If I ever need to go away without her, then LW I think you would have another guest, but she has settled into caravanning OK, and sleeps as soon as we set off in the car.
Life still good at Casa DG, so ((hugs)) to all of you not in such a good place.
    Take care all. DG
