Time to welcome in the New Year. I can't say that I enjoyed much of 2012 but what warmed the cockles of my heart was the love and support from my Internet friends, with special thanks to my life-savers Steve, Andy and Kit

Just relaxing at Kit's still, with Steve and Andy. Oh, I went to cinema on Saturday evening with Steve & Andy, and a couple of Kit's friends and had a lovely time. We saw The Hobbit and the cgi were fantastic. Transfixed by Thoren, King of the Dwarfs ....... Had to check who played him, and it was Richard Armitage, as in Spooks' Lucas, loved him in that too
I will be driving home tomorrow, then picking the dogs up from the kennels on Tuesday
