I'm in too this week. Managing to do more now. Thanks for the new list.
Must try and get into the spare room and give that a good sort out. Just wrote that and thought well you know what to do a bit at a time. It's just the thought of going in there. Kick up the jacksy needed.
Back at the hospital today. They are asking when I will be back at my voluntary job. Hopefully two weeks time. I'm missing it now.
Right up I get. Feed cat. Breakfast and showered. Oh and bin out.0 -
Hello. I'm in again and will try harder this week. Thanks for the list.Spend less now, work less later.0

I'm in too, but as a newbie I could do with a Level Half! Looking round my house I feel that every room os a room of doom. I easily get sidetracked.......looking at MSE can easily last an hour....so I would benefit from a bit of keeping on track. I have a rare days respite and am having a should I go out and have fun or should I stay and clean dilemma going on.
Extras for today:
Post important letter - next day delivery
Fill a cb
Take papers and plastic bottles to recycling bank
Ironing0 -
Thanks for the list, juliejim. Count me in again. I only did mostly Levels 1 and 2 last week because I was out for 3 whole days, but I have taken to heart your message "Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up" and am starting every week with the slate wiped clean, no matter how little I'd done the previous week.
DH has gone off to work so I have about 6 hours to achieve the flylady list plus at least some of my own today:
Birthday card to sister for Thursday
Letter to poorly friend
Make 5 greetings cards
Email some people in Shropshire
Ring goddaughter
Finish knitting cardigan for DGD
Invite 2 friends round one evening this week (separately)
Book open-air theatre tickets, now that the weather's improved :-)
Clear and clean fridge / freezer while it's almost empty
Hang picture - nail already in wall over stairs, but I need the stepladder
Replace lightbulb over breakfast table - need the stepladder for this too
Do some proper work!!! - ie sit at my desk and engage brain
Volunteers' meeting at 5.30 at Central Library
Pigpen, I hope Dot gets better soon. Try to get some sleep when she sleeps. Please don't run yourself into the ground this week. You have achieved far, far more than me in the past few days!
Bossymoo, hope your DD is OK too. Children are always a worry when they can't explain what they're feeling.
Welcome to all newbies, and hugs all round where needed.
I'm off to have a quick shower and S&S bathroom for a start...0 -
Morning All
Well I have got 2 extras today so I'll be working around 4 kids. Beavers tonight then a meeting straight after so nothing will get done this evening. My mate's got my hoover so I need to ring and ask them to drop it off.
I can't really start in the LR at the moment as the girls have got Sylvanian family stuff over the floor.
Hope all the LOs are feeling better this morning.
Have a good day all
Hugs

I would like to join you all this week please. I have read flylady posts on and off for a year but never joined in, but no longer, I figure the only way to have a sparkling house is to give this a go. How long on average does it take before your housework got easier/less consuming and the house looked better? I don't want to start off with unrealistic goals, I think slow and steady will suit me better. I look forward to my 1st week of flying and getting to know you all.
My tip is once you have an area clean and tidy don't let it regress, keep it like that and gradually get more areas done. Welcome and good luckI'm in too, but as a newbie I could do with a Level Half! Looking round my house I feel that every room os a room of doom. Does your beavers carry on all summer? Ours used to be term time only. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all, thanks for the new thread Jue.
Plan for this week is basic flying, a bit of gardening each day and lots of olympics!
Today:
Hoover downstairs
S&S bathrooms
WM x1
Defrost the freezer
Clear the prunnings from the front garden
Pick the fruitThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
She just has a terrible cough and is snotting again.. she sounds like she has smoked 60 a day for the last 30 years.. calpol and cuddles and boob.... I feel like a prune so shall be drinking lots today and hopefully avoiding the dehydration headache.
Oooh I forgot I am getting rid of some girls to my sisters on Tuesday.. excellent..
Right.. cuppa.. and food for Dot.. if she will eat.
I'll get some washing out and do the DW too.. back in a bit.
Iona.. we have my daughters birthday party on Saturday and about 30 people coming so the house needs to be way way tidier than it is or we won't all fit in! We are hoping it is nice so most can be kept outside but need to plan in case it isn't! Lol Dusty Kitten - That's exactly what I need (although I had just gone to put the washer on) I will not reappear on here until I have done my HH!!0 -

Pigpen, if they're all out in the garden they won't worry about the house (except for the kids - they'll mess it up anyway, running in and out and looking for new toys to play with), and if they're all inside they won't be able to see it because they'll all be playing sardines!
