Dual simm card holders

Hiya,

Can I just ask what happens when someone rings you and you have one of these dual sim card holders? Does only one of the numbers ring and the other one go to the machine or something?

I have a 6230i, can you use the dual sim card holder in this phone? If so, i would be really grateful if someone could point me in the direction of a good one with no cutting involved and the on screen menu

One number rings and one will go onto answer machine, or you can divert one of the sims calls to the other, you can use dual sim in the 6230i as I did last year, this is the one you want, no cutting involved and no need to switch your phone on and off.

I have not tested any dual sim holders form this site and do not guarantee they will work, I would contact the site before buying to make sure.

Just some quick advice on these from my own experience - these holders don't seem to work to well if your sim is thicker than average.

E.g. I have an old orange out here sim which is quite thick and there just isn't enough room for it when using a dual sim adaptor.

Anyone know about all these claims of what generation the dual sim adaptor is - I think they say 13th generation or something - presumably the new feature is just the timed switiching between sims etc?

When on ebay,click buy,then advanced search,then enter the item number and it will take you directly to it.

Can you recommend a suitable dual-sim system for a sony-ericcson W550. I've had a look at some of the previous suggestions but I'm not sure which one is best for the W550. Is there one with the "menu" system of switching rather than an actual power off/on?

I cant find a specific one for that model but had a look around and this one on ebay says it does all mobiles, I would email them first to check.
