Dual simm card holders

I was wondering if anybody has experience of dual simm card holders? If so what should I avoid. I am looking to use a vodaphone and a mobile world simm card (so I can make cheaper calls to UAE)Any advice would be much appreciated.

I bought my dual sim card holder off ebay,very simple to do,what phone do you have and I will find you a suitable dual sim holder.

Ngbhughenden, I have only ever had a dual sim holder once and it was for a Nokia. It worked like a dream, possibly the best £2 I ever spent!

Thats encouraging. Do you have to switch the phone on/off to change signal/provider. Out of curiosity which Nokia did you use the dual simm card holder in? Many thanks

With the newer ones you no longer have to turn the phone on and off, a menu appears in your phone which lets you choose which number you want to select and thats it,no switching off and on needed.

It was in a 7210, and I should mention that a friend has used one in his 6210 for years.

Yes, both of them involved switching the phone off and back on to switch SIMs.

Thanks for the info Jaymarsh, that's interesting. Do you know if dual-sim holders are available for the Moto L6, and if so, does the phone still fit in the standard hard plastic cover?

Is it possible to have a dual sim card holder for Nokia 3100, 2310 or 6070? And where could I get them? Are they really hassle free, there are so many types, which ones I shoud be lookoing for? Thanks
