Imagine how long it might take to discuss the babys' name ;)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

He'd have to get around to asking the sex first.

The kid would probably graduate as Baby Arran, BSc.

    Congratulations.

You HAVE to get better at speaking to her - you see, currently you know things like you would be happy for her to be pregnant, but you've left her thinking you wouldn't.

So your reality has moved on - but hers hasn't, causing the mother of your child an amazing amount of stress over a time when she should be happy.

And once you've done that, bit takes a lot more reassurance what with all those hormones going on.

If you aren't careful, and you don't start acting like you have something to say, I'm afraid that eventually she will decide to seek someone who will engage in conversation with her, ask her questions, and listen to her.

As a woman that's how we know someone cares - he asks us questions, shows an interest, isn't afraid to speak - let's us know where he is at all the time. And we learn that those are honest.

She is in for a pretty rough year or so, she'll need you.

To be there for her you have to open up and speak, even if she finds it difficult.
  • many congrats OP to you and your partner x

    Congrats OP!!
PS, If you can feel her tummy when you hug, she must be a few months along (+3) xxxx

If so, she's known herself for quite a few weeks and what about the 12 week scan?

It's all very wierd, congrats if true though....

    Happy moneysaving all.

    Good point.

He'll probably be back on here soon to report she's booked in for a c-section next week and its coming sooner than he expected...

That's fine, everyone has an opinion I just cant believe how rude some are being about it.

I don't understand why you don't think i'm genuine but hey ho.

Went for our 'first' scan today, albeit a little late for a first scan First thing the sonographer said "well there's heartbeat Number 1..... and there's heartbeat Number 2"

    So, we're having twins!!!

The scanner dated them to 18 weeks and 3 days by the measurements of their heads, well apparently one is 3 days younger with it's head being slightly smaller.

They're due on the 4th of February.

We've to go back a week on Tuesday for a second scan and hopefully find out the sexes as we both want to know.

Life really is full of little twists and turns.

    Delighted!
