Well i got a reply about the job interview i went for....i didn't get it....i'm well annoyed as ive been working their as a volunteer for the last 7 years and for the past 4 years for 3 Sundays in August i MANAGE the blooming place and they tell me someone with more experience got the job, my manager even gave me a glowing reference......well maybe i'll start my dream of having my own business and tell them where to go, this is the 2nd interview ive had with them and both times turned down......i'm good enough to be the unpaid skivvy but not good enough to be paid for my time!:mad:Mortgage Jan 2007, 60000

Hi Jackie, could I have a copy of the misers coobook too please? I am trying to maximise my frugal lving this year to live on less and save more. The biggest areas I am hoping to save on are
Food, household cleaning stuff etc
Gas/Electic Bills.
Christmas - going to do a handmade one this year.
Cars - these are now our biggest annual expense. My petrol comsumption has gone down alot now that I work mainly from home but OH still uses alot - about £160 - £200 per month. I have thought about getting rid of my car but I do need it to get to parts of my job0 -

Could I have a copy of the cook book as well please
This thread is useful but making me feel guilty as heck we spend around £20 a week on our leccy meter and there are only 2 of us! We have no boiler though so our hot water comes from the immersion heater which is pricey to run.
We are in debt with the gas, I have queried the massive bills we keep getting as we only have a gas fire and a gas hob! Any ideas how I can get the gas usage way down even in winter? (gas fire and electric heaters are our only source of warmth as no central heating)0
