    i love these, we have been helped with all sorts of stuff that would have been big purchases, even daft bits that you would't want to waste precious cash on , people share and are very generous if you are fair and honest and share with them. their may be one near you. Don't uy anything till you have asked on freegle first, don't throw out anything till you have asked if anyone way have use for it !! it works x

    I've just looked back on that first post of mine and noticed i put my electric as £45 - £43 but mean £25 - £23. :-)

    I also second the use of red lentils. Add to curries, spag bol, dark-meat casseroles etc. Also, see if you can get a slowcooker on freecycle - I love mine and they are so very cheap to run

    I add red lentils to stuff but think i put to much in, how much are you meant to put into cassoroles or curries?

    Have you tried shopping in Lidl or Asda. They are both good for cheaper fruit and veg (and other things too). Hope you have one or the other near you.

    I'd love a copy of the Online Miser's Cookbook too please!
