Just found some turkish delight which says eat before sometime in 2006 (it's in greek) will it still be ok to eat?

Try this: put a spoonful of yeast and a spoonful of sugar, plus some warm water into a cup. Stir well and leave in a warm place. After30 minutes if you haqve no frothy head it's past it
