We're still in recession dontcha know.

Sorry but everyone else had a recession thread and I felt left out. Especially as I was the only Economy Bear on here who actually predicted a sustained recession and protracted recovery and put his money where his mouth is.

I find it's easy to make a prediction, much harder to stand by it to the tune of hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Must be a quiet news day.

I wish I had bought the same crystal ball as Renoman. ;)

Maybe he like to enlighten us with his current 10 year economic forecast........

I reckon this is the worst non-silver centric thread ever posted on this board. I am fully aware that this contribution hasn't improved it.

Not sure that was possible after the OP.

Oh I dunno, I thought my recession thread is as good as the multitude of other recession threads. Those of us who are bearish on the economy have to try and land our jabs when we can against those damned bulls. If they have their way, they will undermine our dreams of getting a cheap home.

    The swine!

To quote the late, great Lord Blackadder who could well have been talking about this thread:
It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better*.
While we're congratulating ourselves, I did a 50km bike ride today. Anyone else want to pat themselves on the back?
