Butti's Journey: A matter of loaf and death

Well, you should probably practice mouth-to-mouth on him just in case...
And maybe ask him about your bra??? (a la Joey Tribbiani opening Phoebe's bra... maybe your landlord has mastered the art from a distance!)
Nic I just wanted to tell you that your signature is an inspiration. I'm going to use it as a focus to get my debts down.Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

Well the sun is shining in the East Midlands. What a gorgeoooos day. Should have put some more washing in, but the guy who does the gardening has cut down the tree that the washing line was attached to!!!
So...random rant approaching...(we will get on to moneysaving at some point!) Mugabe...what is that man on? Reckons its divine intervention that has dictated he is set to be the dictator of his country :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Well done son...that's not divine.
I'll tell you what's Divine (or at least timely)...me coming round to the idea of possibly going to Edinburgh coinciding with a cheque for £20 arriving on the mat from the charity I trustee for. They'd sent it, I'd lost it, they send a replacement JUST at precisely the right time.
So activities for this weekend
1. [STRIKE]stalk the landlord[/STRIKE]
2. Get the photo's of my motorbike jacket and panniers off the phone and on to the memory stick
3. Take the motorbike jacket to BSL practice tomorrow for my fellow signer to try on
4. Look at B&B's in Edinburgh once I hear back from my wonderful friend in Edinburgh
5. Put motorbike gear on Gumtree
6. Plot out PPI list and where to write using Martin's guide
7. Letter to Halifax APR gits
I will also be resting and sleeping and not doing much of this :j or much of anything really!!
The plan for the week is to start to plan my week.
It is about time I didn't just plan my money and my food. In the words of Dr Christian 'you've lost four inches round your ribcage'. Actually he would never say that would he because rib-cage is way too medical for the average viewer to get so he would say chest, or tummy, or top or something else dummed down. Anyway I've gone down from a 36D to a 32D - thank god I didn't chuck all my bra's when I was in my post op magnolia shade of white projectile vomiting phase five years ago.
So I think a bit of a campaign of taking care of myself is needed. The same as everyone really;
A bit of exercise and healthy eating
What a surprise eh?
I think I need one session of pilates, one session of running and NO sessions of spending 14 hours moving contents in a house....and a bit of that.
There are two lots of tomato, onion and chorizo in the fridge and healthy food in the freezer so I will use that in the next week. I better look up salmon recipes before I leave here and I do have baked potatoes (that a dog's nose has not been in contact with!)
Right ...off to check out salmon recipes.

Better ex-lodgers?
Ah but not so much a problem if they are ex-lodgers
So how have we done on the list for the weekend?
So activities for this weekend
1. stalk the landlord
2. Well I have the photo's, they are on the phone, I think the bag with the details of the phone are in the car as they are not under the bed!
3. Motorbike jacket didn't fit so that will now be on Gumtree once I have got it off the phone.
4. B&B to be booked tomorrow for a weekend in Edinburgh as my wonderful Snaggly friend is going to give me a bed for a night (that will be the night I won't be doing this  well unless she pours me one - that would be impolite right?!!!)
6. PPI to be started tomorrow.
7. Halifax letter written. Very polite (for me) but very succinct.
'You recently wrote to me to inform me you intend to increase the APR applied to my credit card. I am writing to request that you do not.
I understand that there is an option in the lending code that allows me to offer not to spend any more money on the credit card and pay it down at the current rate of repayment and also at the current interest rate'.
Very clear I thought!
RightTime for Bed...the good news also for today is that I have managed to install O2 on the computer so I now have mobile broadband and therefore no end to the witty anecdotes I can post :rotfl:or so I think!
Right better go...work tomorrow...Edinburgh in 11 days :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
