That is me but the little finger is straight. My eldest brother is the same even with a pint. We were brought up posh (so my cousin likes to tell me) .....dysfunctional but posh.

So....I've had a rubbish day. Well when I say rubbish....it's all relative....I'm not hungry, I'm not homeless and I've got a new Chromebook :D which is brilliant :D:D:D

This is so I can communicate more on social media ie.

    HERE(and over there too!)

    Linkedin

    A couple of dating sites

But have had to write this afternoon off pretty much as my connection to the company servers and then my connection to the company servers through my wireless connection both decided to go on holiday. Going to have my what is coming a 'daily conversation' with IT tomorrow about getting connected, this time in person.

This evening was to have been leg waxing (oh joy!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and some of this  because frankly, how do women wax their bits without anaesthetic of some form. But I am feeling rubbish so I think I'll have a bath after sorting bills into piles and after clearing the pc of information.

Later this week we actually take it apart :T:T:T (we as in me!), take the paper out of the desk and put the desk on gumtree /ebay/ freecycle. Then I will have a really really clear office to go with my increasingly tidy house.

At a crossroads at the moment. Debts at just under five figures :eek::eek::eek: BUT Career Development Loan will clear this month and my salary has gone up by £250 a month due to the change in mileage.....SO......there is a light. I have also paid 11% of the mortgage off in 2 years so not sure whether to start a new diary with a focus on that.

...and I need a new title. Any ideas? Double entendres welcome, as is alliteration.

If it's to the west in the evening and very bright I think you'll find its Venus :rotfl:.

I could just do with fewer days like today. Frustrating time trying and failing to do my work. Not feeling terribly well.

and in therapy.....we've done the first memory and we could stop now....yes I was offered that option and I'm feeling a lot calmer and a lot more positive. But and its a big BUT I don't think we're finished. Much like when I broke my nose and they gave it an extra shove to get it a bit straighter and it hurt a bit more for a short time. We both think there are about another three memories to be de-sensitised. The next one is a biggie so not really looking forward to that one. I'm dreading it a bit TBH but then that was how I was feeling about EMDR before I started and it has undoubtedly helped me.

Looking forward to being on here a bit more and supporting some lovely people a bit more.

Eating healthier? More exercise? Less debauchery?

See I don't remember talking about new years resolutions and debauchery, but then I didn't remember mentioning pubic topiary!!!!

    Maybe it's me.

However with Zed there is always the other option - not me!

The only joy to be had from that would be waxing someone else's...

No, no, if it's a medical procedure, it needs to be in Latin - you can't call it a "shove". It sounds a bit like a nostrus bangus owwii owwii procedure.

Well it appears we have secured funding for the next four years. My job looks a bit more secure up to 2021.

Time to do the New Years Resolutions I think. The possibility of looking at kitchens in 2018 presents itself also but it is standing behind the Debt!

So you're going to continue with your current levels of debauchery? Sometimes it's good to consolidate...

    The chromebook
I like that it is big compared to a phone and easy to type on. I like that it will not get clogged up with crap due to the cloud and my external storage performing correctly. I like that I can transfer the information from my pc and my memory stick on to my hard storage and that this can connect with my chromebook so I can clear everything off the PC, smash it to bits and still be able to get stuff off the hard storage. I like it :D a lot :D:D:D:D

I am about to start on the dating sites. That will be occuring in the next week or so. I shall report back on the axes, mismatched socks etc. :rotfl:

New years resolutions - should I just roll the old ones out do you think? I wanted to do ones that made me feel good this year so have already started on contributing to the food bank once a month.

    So.....downstairs on proper pc - have just printed off my boarding pass! Aims for this year;

    1. [STRIKE]Pay off credit cards (am I allowed one I don't think I will achieve but I do think I will get close to?)[/STRIKE]
    1. Pay off at least two credit cards and try to pay off the third - better :D
    2. At least weekly yoga
    3. At least weekly meditation, preferably daily
    4. Reduce mortgage to under 84.5k (bloody keyboard has no pound sign!)
    5. Learn to swim Young Man - more than breast stroke!
    6. Work through the Chimp book - try to pull my Chimp back a bit.

    Thats enough!

    (7.47pm here)

So that was the start of 2016 after semi-meltdown with the family. So what about this year?

    1. I want to half my credit card debt. I'll report back but I think it is about £9k.

    2. At least weekly yoga

    3. Some form of meditation or mindfulness daily - can be using visualisation of my safe place

    4. Pay £6k off the mortgage. This is better than the credit cards, currently standing at just over £81k. I am going to maximise payment on the small mortgage (£5.5K at 4%) and leave the other where it is for now (£76k at 3.6% I think)

    5. Learn to swim a different stroke! (SWIM Zed, that said SWIM)

    6. Once a month do a food shop for a food bank

This years sound so much better. They are still 'me' orientated but in a good way.

I do like this February thing where they don't take your council tax. Off to buy a second laundry basket for £8 so that the airing cupboard is tidy.

Then I have to tackle the bedroom :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Maybe it would help if I tried to visualise a tidy bedroom :o

Try to imagine it without the chains and whips.

If it makes you feel any better, I did the kitchen this weekend. I did learn that if, after scrubbing the floor, you squeegee it dry - it comes up really nice... :o

    Yes...the excitement...
